Ch21: Wizards & Jerry's Tree

OMG 4.3K READS!? THAT'S AMAZING GUYS! I never really expected people to read it but when I check in the create files it shows like hundreds of ppl read it, so enough of me talking lets begin the chapter!

After crystal took that dive that scared all of us, she took it easy and we all admired the new perspective and I must admit it was beautiful up here. The second she saw my tree, it was the only thing she was looking at.

"That's amazing! How did you get the tree to grow that big?" Crystal asked as she looks for a place to land.

"Land right there" I point to the small hill that's near my house. (remember, Mianite Season 1) "And I didn't grow the tree, the Wizards did" The second I said 'Wizard' she looks at me like I just asked for a enchanted diamond sword.

"Wizards?" She said as if testing the word. "Yea, they help with the buildings, such as this tree" I gesture to the tree. She just looks up at it in awe.

"Anyways, what are we going to do? Tom is after her obviously, and we can't fight against him, not when he's wearing his Dianite Armor at least along with his Sword" Tucker brings up.

"We'll protect her then, Crystal, do u know why  they want you?" I asked. She looks up trying to think. "Well.. I AM his dragon and powerful weapon, am I not?" (Sry if that sounded weird, I was doing Old English sooo.. yea) I wanted to face palm so badly when she said that.

"Yea... I should have realized that sooner, I guess we'll have to train you to be stronger" She looked at me for a few minutes, until she bursts into a fit of laughter- well.. it sounded like laughter to me, for the other guys it probably sounded horrifying from the look of their faces.

"I don't need ANY training, I've been training in the nether for about a 4 years until I ran away and continued training myself for 5-6 months, probably even more!" She piped up after her laughs were ceasing. "You sure? We know how to fight and have you ever fought a person before?" I asked.

Tucker, Luna and Sonja turned to look at us interested and trying to know what we were talking about. "No..... but I can fight, I've been through a lot, I'll fight one of you guys if you want proof" She said with confidence.

"Hmm. ok, you can fight Tucker" "Wait what?" Tucker looked completely confused when I mentioned his name. "Your going to fight her so we can see who skilled she is" He stared at me like I've lost it.

"Your telling me to FIGHT A DRAGON!?" Tucker yelled out shaking me in the process. "Relax she won't hurt you, right?" I look over at Crystal who was amused by Tucker. "Mmmmaybe..." I eyed her. "Ok! I won't" she said done with her fun.

"I don't know man, I fought you, Tom, and other people and mobs, but seriously is she going to severely hurt me?" Tucker asked trying to find his way out of the situation. "She won't, you panic too much Tucker" Sonja said rolling her eyes.

"Fine... But we aren't ion the arena's so lets show her around first off, and-" Tucker was cut off by one of the Wizards who landed behind him and stared right at Crystal. "Mind Explaining?" He asked. "Oh hey Wag, this is Crystal, she lived in the Nether but didn't like staying with Dianite so-" "She was raised by Dianite?" Wag cut me off.

"To make this Smaller, she was raised by Dianite, didn't like him so she ran away, found the portal to the Overworld, almost destroyed Luna's home, Found us but she ran- or Flew, she took Jordan with her, we found the cave to where they went, Jordan explained that she isn't bad, and we came here, she nearly killed us but besides that yea we are here now" Tucker said as if Wag could understand and process what he just said.

"Umm... ok, so the dragon's name is Crystal correct?" Wag asks. "Yep, are you a wizard?" Crystal asks. "Oh and I need to mention, I am the only one who can hear what she's saying" Wag looks at me shocked but confused slightly. "How come you can only understand her?" He asks.

"I think this is a reason" I point to the Symbol on her neck as it glows a neon purple glow. "Is that a Ianite symbol?" Wag asks studying the symbol as he got close but Crystal gave a low growl. "Crystal don't growl" She just looked at me but replied with a 'Fine' as Wag continued to look at the symbol.

"Yea, she said it appeared on her one day and she's been stuck with it ever since" I answered. (I hate putting that, I swear I'm going to kill myself XD) "Interesting... I think either she has to do with something in the future for Ianite.. but for now keep her safe, I got a feeling Tom is after her" Wag said with a worried tone in his voice.

"How did you know?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "I'm the almighty wizard! No actually because Tom kept yelling about losing a dragon for Dianite, not hard to miss" Wag chuckled at the end. "Typical Tom" Sonja said leaning against a root of my tree.

"Does the tree have a name?" Crystal asked. "Yep, it's called 'Jerry's Tree', Named after my pet slime died" She looked up at me then asked. "What's a Slime?" I laughed uncontrollably since I forgot she knew nothing in this world from the Nether.

"A slime is similar to a Magma Cube, except they are green" I explain and she replied with a 'oooh' as she glared at me for laughing. "Anyways, it's getting dark out, and I'm in no mood to stay in the night, so you'll stay in Jerry's tree, you alright with that?" She looked confused as she looks up at the sky seeing the moon.

"What's that? and Night? being in the Nether doesn't let you see they sky.. only lava and Netherrack" She said admiring the night sky as the Moon begins to shine. "Wow what kind of sad li-" Sonja cut Tucker off as Luna tries holding in a laugh. "Well she has a point, being in the Nether is like being in the End" Luna adds in after she swallowed her laugh.

"Exactly, so she's going to have to get used to all this, C'mon Crystal, I need to get you to rest, it's a lot for you to handle at once don't you think?" She sighed and nodded a bit with her dragon head as she follows me into the tree, leaving the others to return to their houses.

We reached the second floor and it was a open spaced room, I was planning on doing something with the room since it was empty but I guess Crystal is going to stay in here until I get her a better place to stay. "If you need me i'm in the house down there" I point to the window as I open it and she looks down to see my house.

"Thanks, and I am a bit tired... I guess" She started to lay down, but she never took her eyes off of me. I was about to walk out of the room when "Hey Jordan..?" I turn around "Yeah?" "Thanks for helping, i'm just a random dragon who knows nothing of this world, i'll try to not be such a burden" I smiled and nodded as I walk out and go downstairs.

"For a dragon raised from Dianite she has a heart.. and has her manners, maybe she is  sent from Ianite..." I mumble to myself as I go in my vault and hop into bed, completely not noticing a tall black figure spying on me from outside in the mini forest.

FINISHED! finally, this took me a lot longer, even with my free time, probably because my dad kept asking for help, but who can blame him? He got surgery sooo............ yea not pleasant but he's getting better but for now i'm his baby-sitter.
