Ch7: Supplies & The Symbol

~~~~~~Crystal POV~~~~~~~~

I woke up with Flame on the other side of where I was sleeping near a fire. I got up and started heading off to find supplies for the training tunnel.

I started strolling around seeing what I could find and use. I didn't find much just some metal scraps and all. Then I found a pit of lava that seems to be in use and a bucket lying on the other side. I make the risky thought and jump over the pit trying to use my wings to glide me over.

I reach the other side burning my tail slightly and that's about it. I grab the bucket and risk the jump again only this time I scratch my left hind leg but I try to walk it off while bringing the bucket of lava to the tunnel.

But just as I was about to go into the small hole that leads to here little camp Something catches my eye. I lay the buckets and sneak my way towards the object.

When I got close it started glowing a purple peaceful glow and it felt like it was taking all my worries away. The more I got closer the more it started to glow and making me relax. It looked like a amulet made of obsidian and pure gold around it with a eye in the middle.

I walked towards it with caution and slowly picked it up. Then purple and bright green mist started slowly surrounding me from the eye of the amulet. Then a weird symbol came on the amulet I couldn't see clearly 'cause everything started becoming a blurr and I was out-cold.

~Flame found her and carried her back to the camp place or tunnel~

I woke up to see Flame looking at me funny. "Hey Flame..... what happened?" I asked. "You just passed out at the entrance for some reason oh and I brought the buckets that I'm guessing you brought from searching" He replied.

 "Y-yea I did but.... ugh... where's the amulet Flame" I asked. "What amulet? There wasn't a amulet anywhere except the fact that you now have something on the side of your neck" He pointed to my neck.

I grabbed some sand and used the lava in the bucket to melt the sand and got some metal and started turning the sand into glass and used the metal to turn it in to a mirror kind of.

I looked at the mirror and looked at my neck. It had a drawing of a purple scale highlighted with swirls around it.

"That's weird" I said very confused. "I don't remember me having this but it must have something to do with the amulet that disappeared" I said. Flame nodded and behind him was a dispenser.

"Did you find this?" I asked him. He nodded. "Yep It was lying around near some lava so I brought it back" He said giving me a smile.

"Thanks It will be useful but for now I still need to go searching for items, you stay here I'll be back in a bit I just need to search around the castle-" I was cut off by Flame panicking.

"THE CASTLE!!??! ARE YOU NUTS?! THEY ARE ON THE HUNT FOR YOU!!" He yelled panicking obviously. "Their going to easily find me if you don't shush!" I said.

He was quiet but was shaking. 'Awww..... he cares for me...' And I slowly went up to him and put my wing around him. "You better now?" i asked and he nodded.

I was about to go but I turned my head at Flame. "I'll be fine don't worry, once I get some more supplies I'll come back and start putting all this stuff together k?" And he nodded.

I was digging a little hole to store some supplies that I can't carry. I then started to dig a little secret tunnel it was 1 block high so it's going to be tight but it's only accessible by me since I can shrink myself that small.

I dug my way inside a little abandoned hut thanks to my razor sharp claws. I searched around carefully and only found 3 buckets, 1 rope, 5 dispensers, and 2 stacks of arrows.

"Who's would leave perfectly good arrows?" I mumbled. I grabbed all the stuff and headed out of the hut and carrying all the things on my back and slowly crawling in to the 1 block tunnel.

I make it back to Flame who seemed to already doing some stuff to the tunnel. "Hey Flame I'm back!" I said cheerfully.

"Hey Crystal! How was the searching?" He asked.

"Nothing happened found a abandoned shack and got loads of stuff from it" I replied.

"Sweet" He said putting a dispenser on the wall and filling it with fire charges.

"Where did you get fire charges?" I asked admiring the glowing, burning rock that I grabbed.

"A ghast friend of mine has them I asked for some and he gave me like 6 stacks that dude really loves his fire charges" He said chuckling.

"Well I got a few arrows and some dispensers and a rope" I said getting all the stuff off my back.

"That would help alot on what we need to do now um crystal..... I know this isn't a girl thing for you to do but.... can you dig a hole right here?" He hesitated half way through his sentence.

"Yea of course, and btw I'm not all girly you know" I said playfully to him.

"How wide?" I asked. "Umm about 4 blocks deep and 3 blocks across" He said. I got started on digging the hole and it only took me 2 mins to do it thanks to my claws and by digging it sharpened my claws slightly.

'Wow...... my claws look so deadly.. I better be careful with them' I thought. I looked at a bucket that was shining and I could see the scale drawing still on my neck.

'What does this mean.... am I changing my fate?' 'I would change my fate, I would do anything than become a weapon for Dianite to use' I thought. The symbol started to glow slightly and giving me a strange feeling, one that you don't ever feel in the nether.

It felt so weird, it felt like it wasn't meant for the nether where it's all hostile and dangerous and everyone for themselves, no it felt like it belonged to another...... Dimension.

What ever the feeling was it felt like I belonged to someone else that is more.... neutral.. and peaceful.

But my question was..... who?

OMG!!!!!! SORRY THAT THIS ONE TOOK AWHILE AND I HOPE YOU ALL HAD A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS WITH LOTS OF TOYS AND WHAT-NOT!!!
