[Arcane] Departure (Caitvi & Timebomb Post S2)

There wasn't even a hint of sunshine over Piltover today. Cold winds stung Vi's face as she stared at her gauntlets. They were on an airship, making their way to the location of the drop to intercept the stolen goods.

"Construction..." Vi mumbled.

Everyone looked over to her, confused. Vi didn't look up from the gauntlets to see their reactions, she remained completely zoned out.

"What was that?" Caitlyn asked.

"Sevika said... I could do construction," Vi chuckled. "Look where we ended up."

"It's still an option," Sevika noted.

"No... it's not," Vi responded.

Everyone went quiet for the rest of the journey. Caitlyn walked up to Vi and pulled her to the side.

"Vi... go home," Caitlyn whispered.

"Every time you ask, the answer isn't different. I'm still fucking in this," Vi argued.

Caitlyn stared for a moment before placing her hand on Vi's cheek. At this point, everyone noticed what was happening.

"Violet-"

"Don't call me that, I hate that," Vi interrupted.

"Vi... you need to focus on your health. A break would do you well. I know what you're saying, that you are in this, but you don't have to be. I see it in your eyes... you aren't being honest with me. It's okay to have feelings," Caitlyn attested.

"That's not why you have me around, you have me around to punch things, and that's what I'm good at," Vi bickered.

"You need to go home, Vi," Caitlyn asserted.

"Why? Cause you are worried I'm too unstable?" Vi chuckled

"Because I love you!" Caitlyn yelled

Orianna began to approach them, with Sevika trying to stop her. Sevika placed a hand on her shoulder, but Orianna broke free of her grasp. She stepped between Vi and Caitlyn.

"This isn't the time. Caitlyn says go home, go home," Orianna interjected.

"Orianna, I really don't need this," Vi fumed.

"If you are going to jeopardize this operation, you shouldn't be here," Orianna stated.

"That's not why I want her to go! I don't give a fuck about the mission" Caitlyn maintained.

"Cait, look at her, she doesn't give a fuck about anything anymore. She's fucking gone," Vi ridiculed

"Guys! Stop!" Sevika shouted

"Somethings coming!" Seraphine realized.

Everyone turned around and spotted a ship coming towards them.

"Is that the hextech shipment? We should be behind them... not going in opposite directions... It's going backward," Orianna observed.

"Somethings not right," Vi muttered.

Suddenly, a violent force shook their airship. It went through theirs and crashed into the hextech shipment as well. Camille Ferros had grabbed onto their ship. Caitlyn shot at Camille but she ducked away. Sevika looked towards the sky and noticed Bloodhounds gliding around. Seraphine stepped on her hoverboard and glided up. Her board started shooting waves of sound that disrupted the flight of the Bloodhound devices. Just how she planned.

Orianna revealed an upgraded weapon, her ball was bigger and stronger. Seemed to have more Hextech powering it. She lifted it up to Seraphine and shielded her from a sneak attack. A Bloodhound bounced off the shield and landed on the ship. Sevika grabbed him by the throat and tossed him overboard.

The Bloodhounds landed on the airship with the Hextech and started cracking crates open. Vi noticed them and used the thrusters on her gauntlets to propel her to the other Airship. She uppercut a girl, and she flew into the air and almost off the transporter, but Vi caught her leg and slammed her into another firelight. Vi quickly turned around to fight a third, who was about to stab her with their blade. She caught it, and they tried to use their other hand. She caught that one as well. She held their arms up and bent the blades until they shattered. She proceeded to kick them into some cargo. Her gauntlets powered down from the damage.

"Guys! My gauntlets stopped working. Kinda stranded over here!" Vi called out.

Both ships were falling rapidly towards the ground due to the damage they sustained. Smoke filled the air as they were headed for a crash landing. Everyone was too focused on their fights to notice. Camille jumped onto Caitlyn's ship and tried to cut Sevika. Sevika punched Camille in the stomach and rolled away to increase the distance between them.

"Guys! Help?" Vi continued.

Orianna's eyes widened when she saw Camille. She slammed her ball against Camille's head, and Camille fell off the ship. She latched on with a hook and dangled off the back. Orianna placed herself on top of her ball, using it as a flotation device as she glided down to chase after Camille. Caitlyn shot Camille's hook and Camille entered free fall. Seraphine and Orianna followed Camille in the air, and she used her undamaged hook to connect to a building. Seraphine used a sound wave to push Camille through the building wall into the interior.

"Shit! Caitlyn!" Sevika panted

As Caitlyn provided cover fire for Seraphine and Orianna, she quickly looked to Vi to check on her. She watched as Vi looked around frantically. Her gauntlets were off, there was nowhere to jump to, and the airship was inches from the roof of a building. It crashed into the structure before Caitlyn could even speak.
