Trolls: An Extra Addition

BroZone, where'd they bro?

"Uh, could you give us a second?"

Branch asked, and John Dory nodded. Branch brought Poppy somewhere else nearby, leaving John Dory and Zara alone.

"Huh?"

King Gristle could only watch what was happening along with Bridget, the officiant, and the other trolls and bergens.

"Okay, what are you doing?"

Branch asked once him and Poppy were at a far enough distance. There was evident worry in his tone of voice and in his actions. While in the meanwhile, Zara and John Dory seemed to be starting a conversation of their own.

"This is your second chance with your brothers, Branch!"

Poppy said enthusiastically, as she usually is. She didn't seem to realize how difficult it truly was for him to take that chance. 20 years is an extremely long time, and in his mind, they had all the time to come back.

"It's not that easy, okay? You don't get it. You don't have any siblings."

Branch said, trying to prove a point. Though, it only ended up being used against him.

"That's my point! Branch, you are so lucky to have siblings to fight for. I mean, if I had a sister..."

Poppy started off, gasping as she thought about everything that could happen if she had a sister. However, nearby, a certain retired king couldn't help but grow a little anxious.

"It would be so perfect. We'd be best friends and we'd teach each other things, and we'd never fight.-"

"Poppy."

Branch tried interrupting her, but it seemed like she was too deep in her thoughts and vision of having a sister.

"-And we'd always have each other's back, and we wouldn't even have to talk 'cause we'd think all the same thoughts. And everyone would ask us if we were twins-"

"Poppy?"

Branch tried again, waving his hand in front of her face to get her attention. Though she didn't seem to notice and was still ranting on.

"-And we'd laugh and be like: Well, not technically-"

"POP-py..."

Branch raised his voice a bit to get her back to earth, or whatever the world is called in this universe. That seemed to finally get her to snap back to reality though. Even startling his siblings standing nearby.

"But... if she were ever in trouble, I would do everything I could to help her. I would show up."

Poppy said, finishing her statement. Branch paused for a moment, before he let out a sigh.

"Okay, listen. If there was a sibling that I might do this for---other than Zara---it would be Floyd."

He admitted, almost in a defeated matter as his hands dropped down to his sides.

"I'm not hearing 'no'!"

Poppy said happily, poking his chest lightly. Branch only smiled lightly at her actions, and it seems his siblings were just as happy about his answer.
