Chapter 6: Exposed

Narrator POV

"Ah.... Ah... AH... AHHHH!"
SeMi screamed while moving wildly in her bed. The door suddenly opened as Sehun and Kyungsoo rushed into SeMi's room to find her squirming and moving around viciously in her bed.

"SEMI! SEMI! SEMI, WAKE UP!"
Sehun and Kyungsoo shouted in unison while they shook SeMi to wake up. SeMi's eyes shot open and she glimpsed at the person in front of her. She quickly hugged him and tears began to seep from her eyes. Sehun was surprised at the sudden hug, but he then felt her crying. Sehun began to pet her head as his arm wrapped around her body. Kyungsoo felt relieved that she had gotten back to her senses, but he felt somewhat jealous of Sehun for some unknown reason. SeMi hugged Sehun tightly as if she didn't want to let go of him. She was frightened, but after she woke up, she had forgotten what exactly she was frightened of.

After about 15 minutes of crying, SeMi released Sehun from the hug, but she still held his hand. Sehun could see something had frightened her by the way she looked and by the way she tightly held his hand. He knew that it would be better not to ask her.

"Are you okay now?"
Sehun asked softly. SeMi slightly nodded as she wiped away the last of her tears. Kyungsoo stood up and made his way out while saying,
"Sehun... Take care of her while I get back to work."

Kyungsoo's tone was more of a monotone sound, as he didn't want to see or hear SeMi or Sehun. Sehun nodded and began to comfort SeMi.

"Do you need some water? Food? Bubble tea? I'll get it for you."
Sehun asked. SeMi shook her head and quietly said,
"Just stay with me."

She looked to the ground as she said that. Sehun patted her head and replied,
"I will."

SeMi then cuddled herself back into her bed and slowly fell back to sleep while Sehun held her hand. Sehun just stared at her as she slept. He slightly smiled as he remembered the way she hugged him and the way she tightly held his hand. As Sehun looked at the time and realized it was a bit late, he decided to leave SeMi. He slowly released himself from her hand that held his hand tightly just minutes ago. Sehun got up from the bed and before he left the room, he looked back at SeMi and then closed the door.

The next morning, SeMi woke up to find no one in her room. She looked around confused about last night. She remembers waking up to find Sehun and Kyungsoo in her room, but she didn't remember at all what had frightened her that night. All she remembered was crying in Sehun's chest as she shakily hugged him. SeMi shook her head and began to get ready for work. Before she was about to head out of her room, she looked in one of her drawers to find her notebook full of notes on the money she needed for her father's debt.

SeMi POV

I've worked for Luhan for about 5 weeks and so much has happened. Most of the time it was normal, but I would always remember what had happened the first 2 weeks I was here. I found out about my master having sex with many different women almost every night, I even had sex with him on accident, I went to a wedding and met his brother, I pretended to be a secretary, and even met my god damn brother that I never wanted to see again. I remembered paying off the first ₩500,000 to my landlord and the rest is currently towards the debt. So now, I currently have to pay about ₩83,000,000. I probably won't be able to make it in the 2 months they gave me to pay it off. I'll call that man tonight to see if he can prolong my time. I then started my day and it went pretty normal compared to yesterday. I cleaned and worked all day. Sehun and Luhan went to work, and Kyungsoo didn't even speak to me today. It was kind of weird, but it was nice not getting yelled at. The rest of the day was quite normal until Luhan got home and annouced,
"Hey, get ready everyone."

"Excuse me for asking, but for what, Master?"
I asked.

"We are having some company. I want you to learn how to greet and do things for guests when they enter. It's important that they are treated very well or else they will ruin me. So be polite and as good as you can be. If they are rude, don't say anything back to them. Just smile and do your job. I'm sure you'll know the guest that is coming. Even though you know him. Don't. Mess. This. Up. For. Me. Act as professional as you can be."
Luhan said. I nodded and began to get ready like the other maids, but I wondered who the guest could possibly be. They taught me how to greet the guests, ask for their jackets, etcetera etcetera.
