Chapter 12: Missing

Luhan POV
I needed to get out of this bar first in order to contact Tao. I need to find him... His wife and kid must be worried... Dammit... I never should've made him keep watch over him....

SeMi POV
It was awkward eating alone with Kyungsoo. He just stared at me as we ate. It was like a predator staring at their prey. He's looking down now... But the tension is still there.
"Will you stop looking at me?"
Kyungsoo asked.
"I was going to say the same to you!"
I said, standing up. Kyungsoo sighed.
"If you're going to be like this every time we eat, I'm going to ask Luhan if he could just make us eat in separate rooms."

*Knock knock*

Kyungsoo and I both looked towards the door. Kyungsoo set his utensils next to his plate and headed towards the door, while I followed behind him. I hid behind the wall to see if it was Luhan or if it was some visitor. Kyungsoo saw the individual through the peep hole of the door and quickly opened the door. I heard a woman sobbing and saw Kyungsoo immediately bring her inside. It was a woman along with her child.

"JiYeon-sshi... Are you okay?"

Kyungsoo asked, putting his arms around her. She shook her head.

"He's gone... He's missing. Kyungsoo I need to talk to Luhan."

She said.

"Alright, alright. Calm down. Luhan isn't here right now, but what is this about?"

Kyungsoo asked.

"Kris.... They took him..."

Kyungsoo's eyes widened, even more than usual. I heard Kyungsoo curse under his breath. Kyungsoo then removed his arms around her and held JiYeon's shoulders.

"Who.... Who took him?"

"I don't know. But they hurt him... They... They..."

JiYeon then sobbed some more as if remembering what they did to this Kris guy.

"Okay... I'll try and contact Luhan to see where he is right now... Just.... Sit in the living room... Okay?"

JiYeon nodded and held her child's hand. They headed towards the living room. She noticed me and bowed her head a little. I bowed back and saw her continue on towards the living room. Kyungsoo looked towards me that told me to try to comfort her a little while he went to contact Luhan. I nodded and headed towards JiYeon and her child.

"So... What's your little girl's name?"

I asked JiYeon. JiYeon sniffled and looked at me.

"Her... Her name is Jamie."

"It's.... It's a pretty name."

I said.

"Yeah... My hus... Husband named her..."

When she stuttered saying her husband, I realized that Kris, the man who was missing, is her husband. I held JiYeon's hand as I realized what was going on. JiYeon looked at me and smiled.

"I'm sure they'll find him..."

I said. She nodded and looked at Jamie, who was fast asleep.

Kyungsoo POV

"DAMMIT LUHAN WHY WON'T YOU PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE!"

I yelled as I continued to dial Luhan's phone number. Suddenly, I heard the door behind me open. I turned around to find Luhan.

"Dammit Luhan! Why didn't you answer any of my calls!"

I yelled at Luhan. Luhan was drunk, but his eyes told me that he already knew the situation. He was sober, but drunk.
