In the hospital,

Suchi was sitting on her bed talking to Sahitya... but Joshua came in after knocking the door...

Joshua: can I talk to Suchi for few minutes in private...?

Rahul: what is the matter Mr. Joshua...?

Suchi: Annie... let him to talk... you all go outside, he wants to talk in private right...

Vivaan saw Suchi and Suchi closed her eyes and nodding a yes assuring him that she will be ok...

Everyone left the ward leaving only Joshua and Suchi inside...

Joshua came and sat next to her bed and stared at her for some time and then said...

Joshua: you know... your dear husband... Mr. Vivaan Oberoi is not what you are thinking...

Suchi: not what I'm thinking... what do you mean by that...?

Joshua: hm... I know he might have not said you this but I have to tell you this...

Suchi saw him with a normal expression but in curiosity what he wants to tell her about Vivaan...

Joshua: Vivaan is the mafia King of USA... I was given the responsibility to find him and hand him over to the hands of law... I've been working since past 5 years... and now I've got all the evidence against him and I can put him to the jail forever...

Suchi saw him with wide open eyes listening to Joshua... she was now scared hearing him... she was not ready to loose her husband so easily...

Joshua: but... I can't!...

Suchi saw him with hopes in her eyes when she heard him...

Joshua's face softened this time when he was looking down at his wrist caressing a band on his wrist...

Joshua: you know... I had a small sister... her name was Mary... I took care of her from the childhood as my parents died in air crash... she was everything for me...
But one day I came to know she loved a guy... I checked his background and he was not good for her... he played with girls every now and then...
I told her to stop loving him but she never listened to me... her acts were getting worst day by day...
I lost my temper one day seeing her with him kissing in the public... I slapped her in the public... it was the first ever time I had raised my hand on her...
She saw me with full hatred in her eyes...
That day she left the home and me... she never returned after that...
But after two years I came to know in the news that she was killed... and I lost my sister forever...
I even came to know that she changed her husband from a drug and alcohol addict and the one who used to play with girls to a good living husband with his family... She really loved him... and he too... but I never understood that...
This was the rubber band she had on her hair tied with...

He showed the rubber band to Suchi with tears in his eyes... Suchi also had tears in her eyes listening to him...

Joshua: one mistake I made... and I lost my sister... but when I saw you in that warehouse crying to save your shot husband... I remembered my sister that time... even she cried like you to accept her love towards him... but I never did...
When your brother Rahul tried to stop you from going towards Vivaan... I stopped him... I saw my sister in you... I didn't wanted Rahul to commit the same mistake again...

Suchi saw Rahul who was seeing them from the door... she realised that her brother was caring about her so much that time...

Joshua: so I'm not arresting your husband... in fact he never killed the innocent... but law is law for everyone... but I don't want to lose another sister like last time... you actually changed him as my sister did to her husband...

Joshua was about to get up and go from there but Suchi held his hand in hers and said...

Suchi: won't you wipe your sister's tears like all the brothers do...?

Joshua turned and saw Suchi with full of emotions in his eyes... he came near her and wiped her tears...

Suchi: you did not do any mistake... you just cared for your sister...

Joshua he nodded a yes and seeded all his tears hiding her hands to his forehead...

Author POV:

Everyone were in the hospital inside Suchi's ward...

The doctor came in and said...

Doctor: so... you ready to get discharged...?

Suchi nodded a yes excitedly with a smile on her face.

Doctor: ok... there are some rules which you have to follow... as your right shoulder is hurt, you shouldn't use it a lot and you should take care of yourself very good for 2 months... and take your medicines on time!

Suchi: aye aye doctor!!

Suchi said mimicking the pirate's voice.

Everyone were happy seeing her charm is as usual as it is...

Doctor: ok... so then you are ready to go!!

Suchi: yes!!... and doctor can I have ice cream!??

Doctor saw hers and then everyone's face and everyone started to burst out in laugh.

She was literally worried about the ice cream.

Later everyone went to their respective places...

Suchi and Vivaan had also reached their mansion.
