It's late, you and kenan are in bed wrapped up in eachothers arms. You were just started dozing off when you feel something tugging on your duvet.
You sit up turning the bedside lamp on, which made kenan sit up too and when you look down your eyes are met with your daughters, whos looking up are you with tears in her eyes. "aw baby" you say, picking her up and laying her between you and kenan.
"what's wrong" kenan says, stroking her cheek "ba weem " she says rubbing her eyes. Kenan looks at you confused "bad dream" you whisper.
Kenan looks back at your daughter "baby... you ain't gotta be scared" he says, tucking some of her hair behind her ears. "dada protect you" he says, kissing her head. "do you wanna sleep with mama and dada tonight" you say, running your fingers through her hair and she nods. "alright baby" you say, kissing her cheek.
"do you want dada to give you cuddles" kenan asks. Your daughter looks at him sucking her thumb and slowly nods her head. Kenan smiles and wraps his arms around your daughter. "dada look after you" he says, kissing her head which made you smile. "always" he whispers
