Chapter Eighteen: The Oncoming Storm

In the Aftermath of the Kaiju Attacks Left The World of Remnant in a state of Chaos, Millions of People had died and All of their Military Forces had been severely weakened or destroyed, The Radiation left behind from the Kaijus after their attacks were off the charts and deemed uninhabitable and more people died from it

All of the Grimm were wiped out and not a single one was left during the Attacks

Menagerie was sunk to the bottom of the Ocean with no survivors after being attacked by Anguirus

In Light of the Attack, The Arc Clan and other Allied Clan's had been completely destroyed leaving only Chronos and the Arc Family as the only surviving members of the Clan

Surviving Scientists led by Jade Arc were having a difficult time trying to solve this problem as they had never faced something of this magnitude before

Having no knowledge about Radiation they had no means on protecting themselves and countering the harmful effects of radiation exposure

Those who were exposed to the radiation faced dire consequences. Many of them died slow and painful deaths as the radiation took a toll on their health

Some Huntsmen and Huntresses who thought they could handle it with their Aura and Semblance and they learned it the hard way as their Aura quickly ran out after being exposed too long

At Beacon, The Academy turned into an Evacuation Zone bacause of the attack caused by Godzilla left Large Amounts of Radiation all over the city and anyone who went there would be dead within a few minutes

Chronos and the members of the Arc Family had taken refuge at the Beacon Academy, using it as their temporary headquarters and turned it into a makeshift base of operations, serving as a safe haven for their small group and used it for the time Being to try and Plan their next move but with very little to no resources there was nothing they could do

The students of Beacon had been affected greatly by the attacks. Many of them had lost loved ones or friends during the chaos, and they were filled with anger and grief. As a result, their hatred for Jaune had grown exponentially, and many of them sought vengeance and desired to kill him as a means to avenge the people they had lost.

*Scene Change*

Location: Beacon Cafeteria

WBY and NPR made their way to the Cafeteria which had been converted into a makeshift medical bay for survivors as the actual medical bay was overrun with patients, forcing them to make do with the available space.

Cardin sulked in the Corner, Seething in Rage, During Godzilla's attack his team had been killed alongside his family who were in Vale at the time and swore revenge in killing Jaune

The Two Teams made their way through the makeshift medical bay, taking in the sight of the injured and wounded all around them. It was Literally Hell on Earth

Suddenly, A massive portal materialized out of thin air in the makeshift medical bay, causing everyone in the cafeteria to freeze in shock. Out of the portal emerged a colossal white Wyvern and a Giant Moth, its form filling the entire room.

"Well, well, well, look who we have here. A Pack of wild dogs, hiding away like cowards," Jaune taunted with a mocking Grin

"What a sorry sight to behold. I expected more than this from Beacon's finest," Ruby added, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Hiding away like frightened children as the rest of the world burns."

All of the Beacon Students were enraged by their taunts and shouted insults and threats towards them, They grabbed their weapons and charged to attack them but Jaune used his powers to keep them in place and silence them
