February 15th carried the lingering sweetness of the previous night's romantic atmosphere. Taylor and Travis were closer than ever, but today, their plans diverged slightly.

Taylor had arranged to spend the day with Abigail, her lifelong best friend, catching up and sharing the magical details of her Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, Travis had suggested a "guys' day out" with Austin, a rare opportunity for the two of them to bond.

---

Taylor and Abigail met up at their favorite café downtown. Between sips of vanilla latte, Taylor recounted every detail of her evening with Travis: the surprise, the magical lights, and the heartfelt gift of the necklace.

"He's getting more romantic by the day," Abigail said with a knowing smile. "You're lucky, Tay. But tell me... did you ever imagine he'd be this thoughtful back when you were kids?"

Taylor laughed, recalling their childhood escapades. "Not at all! I mean, he was sweet, but who would've guessed he had this romantic side?"

The two friends continued chatting, their conversation shifting from Travis to shared memories, before deciding to do a little shopping at the nearby mall.

---
Meanwhile, Travis and Austin were also at the mall, though their outing was less tranquil. After browsing a few sports stores, they stopped to grab snacks at the food court.

Everything was going fine until Travis noticed a group of boys at a nearby table. They were loud and confident, throwing glances toward a group of girls seated not far away. Normally, this wouldn't have caught Travis's attention—until he realized those girls were none other than **Taylor and Abigail**.

Travis's eyes narrowed, and Austin, noticing his expression, followed his gaze.

"That's Tay and Abigail," Austin said, his tone sharpening.

"And those guys," Travis growled, "clearly don't know who they're dealing with."

Without another word, Travis stood up, with Austin close behind him. Together, they made their way toward the boys, their steps purposeful.

---

Taylor and Abigail, entirely engrossed in their conversation, didn't immediately notice the boys' attention. It wasn't until one of them approached Taylor with a flattering comment that she looked up, slightly caught off guard.

"Hey," the boy said with a charming smile. "I just wanted to tell you that dress looks amazing on you."

Before Taylor could respond, a deep voice cut in:

"She's already taken."

Taylor turned her head to see Travis, arms crossed, his expression anything but friendly. Austin stood just behind him, one eyebrow raised as if daring the boy to say anything else.

The boy, visibly intimidated by Travis's imposing stature and Austin's stern demeanor, raised his hands in surrender. "Alright, man, no need to get worked up. I didn't know."

"Now you do," Travis said curtly before turning to Taylor. "You okay, Tay?"

Taylor, caught between amusement and embarrassment, nodded. "I'm fine. You didn't have to play the knight in shining armor, but... thanks, I guess."

Abigail, meanwhile, watched the scene unfold with an amused glint in her eyes. "Wow, Travis. I think you just let the whole mall know that no one messes with Taylor Swift."

Austin, not to be left out, turned to Abigail. "And you, Abbie, if any of these guys bother you, let me know. I'm right here."

Abigail rolled her eyes but smiled nonetheless. "Thanks, Austin. I feel so protected now."

---

After the incident, the four decided to spend the rest of the day together. They found a quieter spot in the mall to sit and laugh about what had happened.

"You know, Travis," Abigail said, "your possessiveness is a little intimidating, but Taylor's lucky to have someone who cares about her so much."

"And Austin," Taylor added teasingly, "you don't need to be so protective of Abigail. She can handle herself."

"Maybe," Austin replied with a smirk, "but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop watching out for her."

The day ended on a cheerful note, full of laughter and a renewed sense of camaraderie. Taylor was once again reminded of how lucky she was to be surrounded by people who loved and supported her.

As for Travis, he promised Taylor he wouldn't let his jealousy ruin moments like this in the future... though deep down, he knew he'd always protect the girl he loved.
