Chapter 19.....Starting Over

June 3 1958

I WANT MY TEDDY BEAR! I screech as I chase my older brother around the yard.

"Come and get it loser!" Dennis screams back as he lets go of the bear and jumps into the pool with a big splash in my face.

I quickly grab my bear and through it to the side while I dive in the pool and tackle Dennis.

Alright come on kids! Dinner mama announces as we all hop out of the pool.

She flops out the burgers and the hotdogs from the grill.

I grab 1 burger as Dennis grabs 3 hotdogs and Jaden grabs 2 burgers.

I sit across from Jaden on the bench, my wetness soaks into the bench and leaves a but mark,

I laugh.

I ask my mama for the ketchup and the mustard.

EWWWW! Mustard is gross!! Jaden screams at me with a disgusted look.

"That's why I'm eating it and not you!"

When I looked at Dennis and Jaden messing around with each other and mama on her phone...

I knew this was my life now, it's like I just started over at everything...
