Sorry it's been so long! I will be trying my best to get back into writing this! There should be no more emotional problems, so expect more!
The next day Jerome didn't have too much concern waking up. Mitch didn't bother him too much, so he was fine. Preston was excited for the day to start. He had made friends with 4 girls who called themselves the SideChicks. They were all pretty nice, so he was excited to see them again. Mat was concerned, but not worried (He would end up with a fellow hybrid as a boyfriend, so he had no worries. I almost typed that as part of the story XD. I'm a little rusty so bear with me here). He wasn't in too much trouble with the people in his classes, much less than poor Choco. He worried for the little bird, just as much as he worried for the others. Pete was still trying not to let his mask break. He had become close with Rosie in their short time together and her friends seemed cool enough. He was just nervous about some of his classes. No one paid much mind to him after his first period class, which made him fret the arriving day so much more. Then we arrive at Choco. The bird was panicking, shaking crazily in his tree. He had already jumped down once and it didn't help. He just sat there squawking and waiting for this endless torture to be over.
The day started out almost the same as the day before. The group all met inside to talk, except the girls joined them. Vikk was still cautious about them, and Mitch didn't find them. Lachlan walked over and asked to talk to Vikk for which the British boy snapped at him. He began yelling and it was making Choco all nervous. Preston tried to calm him down but it wasn't working.
"Why won't you just-" Lachlan argued but was cut off.
"You should leave Vikk alone." Jerome growled, stepping towards Lachlan with his teeth showing. Lachlan saw his teeth and took a step back, gulping.
"I just want him to hear me out." Lachlan explained.
"He has no reason to. Back off Lachlan, before Jerome gets angrier." Vic snapped, defending Vikk. Marley yanked her back, scolding her. "You broke his trust. He has every right to hate you." Vic added before getting pulled away by Hope and Rosie. Lachlan glanced at Vikk before backing away.
"I never did anything-"
"Go away Lachlan. Just give up." Vikk sighed before bringing the hybrids to their first periods. Preston stayed with the girls, explaining they were in his first period.
"He deserves it!" Vic growled at her friends who were still scolding her.
"I don't care. It's his problem, not yours Victory. Stop trying to play the hero." Marley replied. Preston stood back playing with his sleeve. Hope walked over to him and dragged him to the circle. "Sorry Preston. Vic gets carried away-"
"Carried away? You know what, just screw off Marley. I'm going." Vic stormed off towards the bathroom, Hope sending everyone a goodbye glance before following after her. Rosie waved goodbye and headed towards the science room. That left an upset Marley and confused Preston alone in the hallway. Marley eventually walked with Preston to the classroom and arrived just as the bell rang.
First period went the same as the day before. Victory and Hope showed up soon after the bell rang and the three made up. Preston was still completely confused but accepted it and chatted with them. Jerome and Mat spent the class talking to Vikk and glancing around nervously. Choco hid in the back corner and Lachlan sat by him. He snuck the hybrid glances and smiles throughout class and that made Choco feel safe. Pete chatted and joked with Rosie all through science and enjoyed the time he had. As the bell for the end of first rang, the hybrids prepared for their second periods. Vikk came around to find Choco to help him. The girls had already offered to walk the other two to their classes.
