I sat outside and watched the sunset on the patio. It was orange with yellow mixed into it that made a beautiful orange-yellow.
"It's beautiful isn't it?", Kyle asked.

"Yeah. I guess so", I sighed.

"What's wrong?".

"Nothing. Everything. I just don't see why you choose me to be your wife?", I asked.

"Well, you're smart, funny, and beautiful. What more could a guy ask for? I'm surprised that when I found you, you didn't have a boyfriend already", he said.

"Wow. So, if I'm all that, then what are you?", I ask.

"Well, it depends on what you think of me", he replied.

"I think you're a soulless and heartless vampire".

"Ouch. That hurt", he joked.

"Okay. Truthfully I think that deep down, you're caring and compassionate about others", I said.

"Really?".

"Nope. You're just heartless and soulless. And the most powerful vampire in history".

"I can live with that".
The sun set and the sky was full full of stars. I went inside with Kyle behind me. I walked to my room and fell on the bed. I was exhausted from the long day but couldn't sleep. I was to worried about getting married. I wasn't ready for this. I barely know him and he wants to get married. He "kills" me then he takes me to a hospital. Who does that? I went into the kitchen and saw Kyle sitting at the table reading a book.
"Hey", I said opening the fridge.

"Shouldn't you be sleeping?", he asked.

"Can't sleep. I feel pain in my canines. I feel cold and when I touch my skin it's rock hard", I replied. He stared at me for a minute.

"Your eyes", he whispered. I stood there closing the fridge slowly. He walked to me and stared me dead in the eyes.
"Um. What are you doing?", I asked.

"Your eyes. They're red. You're a vampire", he replied. I felt his hand on my face. He moved his hand around my face making a circular shape. I twisted his arm making him flip and land on the ground.
"Don't touch me", I hissed. He got back up looking like he was in pain but he wasn't.

"Okay. I'll make a note of that. Anyway, how do you feel?", he asked.

"Like ripping your arms off", I replied. It was true though.

"You just need to feed. I'll show you a few tricks", he said. He laid on the floor and just laid there.

"What's the point of this?", I asked.

"To make your prey think you're dead. When they check for your heart beat, they won't feel it. When realize that you're "dead" then you feed".

"So, this is like role-playing?".

"Yes. So check and see if I have a pulse". This was so stupid. I touched his chest and of course, no pulse. He rose up quickly to bit my neck but he stopped. His fangs shot back in his gums. I stepped back while he got up. Impressive. And useless. I walked out the door into the cool air. There was a light breeze out. With Kyle behind me, I walked out to the middle of an open road that went on for miles and miles. I heard a car about a mile away. It was going 80 mph. When it came closer, I pretended like I was walking and when I came, I let it hit me. The car pulled to a quick stop and two people a lady and a man came over to me.
"Call for help", the lady cried. The man walked away while the woman checked for a pulse. She started crying even harder cause I had no pulse. I felt my fangs pop out my gums. I rose up faster than light and bit into her neck. The blood was warm. The blood soothed the burning sensation in my throat. I heard the man scream. Kyle must've wanted a snack. When I finished, I wiped the blood with the sleeve of her shirt and tossed her to the side of the road. I walked over to the man when Kyle finished him.
"Isn't this considered murder", I asked.

"Not if anybody finds out", he replied. I looked at the blood he had left on his lips. I put my lips on the blood wiping it off for him.

"I know you put that there on purpose", I said.

"I know you know. It was the only way to get you to kiss me". I guess he was right, I would learn to love him.
