Chapter 10

A couple of weeks before the wedding Ashley, Kim and I were picking out dresses. Kim and Ashley seemed to really hit it off. We were at David's Bridal Shop and I had tried on at least three different dresses but none of them caught my eye. I went down the row and saw a floor length dress. It had sequins all around the waist line, lace sleevs and the skirt part was flat. I took it off the rack and went to try it on. I looked in the mirror. It was beautiful. I took it off and put my regular clothes on. I took the dress out so Kim and Ashley could see. I paid for the dress and we got into the car.
"I think dress shopping didn't take a long as we thought it would", I said.

"It didn't", Ashley said. A few minutes later, we pulled up in the driveway and got went inside. Kyle was sitting in the living room.
"We're back", I said. He got up and walked over to me.

"She found a really pretty dress all on her own", Ashley stated.

"Well, I have to go", Kim said walking out. Ashley followed her and it was just me and Kyle.

"I'm so glad you have me a chance", he said.

"Well, nothing says romance like a desperate vampire who wants you to marry him", I said sarcastically.

"Why do you keep bringing this up?", he asked.

"I honestly don't know", I replied. He gave me a kiss with his eyes locked on mine. I didn't know what it was that made me want more. I don't know what it is that makes him give it to me. I heard Ashley walked in but I didn't care. She was going to see what she was going to see. She rushed upstairs without telling us why. I pulled back and looked at him.
"Is she okay?", I asked.

"Yeah, she's fine", he replied. I got up to go check on her and knocked on the door twice.

"Come in", she said softy. I opened the door and saw her crying on the bed. I walked over to her and sat on the bed.

"What's wrong?", I asked.

"It's Kyle", she replied.

"What about him?".

"You can't marry him. I didn't want to tell you this but, now I have to. When you kiss him to seal your undeniable love for each other, he will bring you here and kill you. He will rip your head off just like he did to his other three ex wives. If you tell him I said this, he will deny it", Ashley replied. This is was crazy. I can't believe she was saying this. And this is her brother.

"Ashley, this is crazy. Do you even have proof?", I asked. She pulled her phone from her pocket and showed me a picture of him tearing off a girl'a head. She was wearing a wedding dress and he was dressed in his tux. She showed me another picture of him holding the head.
"I was there Ashley. You see why I don't want you to marry him?", she asked. She had the proof. I couldn't believe him. He's been playing me.

"Thank you for showing me this", I said. I started crying on her shoulder and Kyle walked in.

"What's wrong with Abby?", he asked. I stormed out the room and went into the room and cried into the pillows.
