Ayan Pov:-
The room was cloaked in silence, save for the sound of our breaths entwining. Her blouse had slipped from her shoulders, the fabric barely clinging to her frame. I noticed her chest rise and fall, her soft curves outlined by the sheer material her nipples poking from her pallu. Her gaze fluttered to meet mine before nervously shifting away again.
"May I see you?" I asked, my voice low, reverent.
She hesitated for a moment before nodding, her lips parting with a quiet "yes." She blinked nervously, her vulnerability making her all the more enchanting.
I leaned forward and wrapped my arms around her delicate waist, pulling her closer. She buried her face into my shoulder, her body trembling under my touch. I held her gently, my fingers brushing the edge of her hair. Her heart was beating wildly, its rhythm like a sacred drum in the stillness.
I reached for the pen tucked into her bun and carefully slid it free. Her long, voluminous hair spilled down her back, cascading like silk over her shoulders and framing her face. The sindoor from our earlier kiss had smudged slightly on her forehead, making her look otherworldly—like a goddess descending into mortal form.
I couldn't tear my eyes away. She was ethereal.
Lifting her effortlessly, I settled her on my lap. My hand moved to sweep her hair aside as I reached for her earrings. Slowly, I removed the right one, then the left, taking my time to savor every second. As my hand moved toward her nuptial chain, she caught it gently.
"No," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "Bad omen."
I nodded with a small smile, understanding the weight of her beliefs. Respecting her wishes, I lowered my hand, then cradled hers as I removed her bangles one by one with care. I left a single bangle on each wrist; she deserved to feel adorned, always.
I placed her softly on the bed, lifting her legs onto my lap as I folded her saree slightly to reveal her delicate ankles. My hands worked tenderly to unhook her anklets. Her feet were impossibly soft, each touch feeling like the first caress of a holy relic. As I moved toward her toe ring, she shook her head again, murmuring a silent "no."
I nodded, my heart swelling with admiration for her gentleness, her grace.
Pulling her back onto my lap, I brushed a stray lock of hair from her face. She was trembling, her beauty so striking that it almost unraveled me.
"Ayan," she breathed against my ear, her voice trembling like a prayer in a temple.
I moved my hand toward her shoulder, my eyes searching hers for any sign of hesitation. She lifted her gaze, her large, timid eyes locking onto mine.
"Are you sure?" I asked softly, not wanting to break this fragile moment.
She nodded faintly, her lips trembling as she gulped. Her trust in me was absolute, a silent vow spoken in the sacred language of love.
With a careful hand, I began to lower her pallu, the fabric slipping down her shoulders and pooling softly around her waist. My eyes never left hers, watching for even the slightest sign of discomfort. She lowered her gaze, breaking eye contact as her breath quickened.
