Still Seto's PoV -
The bacca turned away from his friend and glared at us.
Before either of us could do anything an arrow flew straight at Betty and she fell to the floor clutching her shoulder while groaning in, what sounded like, pure agony.
I fumbled my hands in my cape before finally being able to grab my healing potion and making Betty drink it. Her face was pale.
"Come on... come on..." I looked back at the bacca who looked ashamed. He scrambled forwards towards me and started mumbling apolagies.
"I'm so sorry, I was scared, and..." I looked at him with an understanding smile and he sighed in relief.
I looked back at Betty who's face had regained colour. The bacca gripped the arrow and pulled it out, making Betty sit up and screech in pain.
He ripped part of his checkered hoodie and pressed it to the wound to stop the bleeding.
He took it off and he bleeding had stopped and Betty was beginning to breath normally again.
She sat up and began taking deep breaths.
"Nice shot." she said to the bacca. I was surprised how that was he first thing she had to stay after nearly dying, especially to the person who nearly killed her.
The bacca was also shocked as he suddenly became very akward.
"Um... Thanks... I geuss?" She smiled and held her hand out.
"Betty."
"I'm Jerome, that's Mitch." he pointed to his friend who was asleep.
Mitch wore the same checkered hoodie as Jerome and had scruffy brown hair along with two dog tags around his neck.
"I'm Seto."
"So... What are your powers?" Jerome asked. I went completely pale.
"How?"
"Not mere mortals can make potions." I looked at Betty who's mouth was agape.
"That's so cool!" She started rambling about awesome things we could do and I zoned out and looked out the window.
"Seto you're new here aren't you?" Jerome said.
"How'd you know?"
"Well first, you're not scared of me and Baccas are meant to be violent, man eating monters, which by the way most of us aren't, and two you willingly carried around a potion so you most likely didn't know about the ban on magic." I sighed and nodded.
"So if he's new does that mean he doesn't know about the prince?" Betty asked.
"Oh yeah! Tell him." Jerome said.
"What 'prince'?"
"One day, long ago, in Minecraftia the King and Queen had a child. They didn't want him, never planned on having him, so he grew up unloved, and uncared for by his parents. He cared for the people of the kingdom, unlike his parents, and his grandmother who cared for him.
Sky's grandmother soon passed away. She gave him an amulet. The amulet was said to make the wearer more courageous and brave in any situation.
One day when Sky was 15 he was old enough to take the throne. He would have taken the throne if it weren't for his disappearance.
The amulet is made of an ended crystal in the middle surrounded by the purest of gold in all of Minecraftia. There's a giant reward if anyone finds the amulet."
I looked into my pocket and saw exactly what she was talking about.
The princes amulet.
