Lil too spicy? [Rutu-Jad]- Little Snippet

"Rutu's mic is off. Who did it? "

"Might be someone from RCB"

Rutu was surprised to get a call from Jaddu bhai, especially at this time when BGT is going on. Yeah, there was a 6 day break before the next test but still, why will Jaddu bhai remember him suddenly?

"Jaddu bhai, hi" Rutu spoke on the call, squashing his thoughts away.

"Hey Rutu, what are you doing? "

"Me? Nothing. Just had dinner"

"Where are you? You had an event in Bangalore? "

Jadeja asked and Rutu bit his tongue. He had a fair idea of what he was talking about. His little banter had apparently not gone well with lots of fans.

"We have a match tomorrow, bhai. I'm at the hotel" Rutu answered the first question, completely ignoring the second.

"I know what you are doing Rutu, I saw that clip" 

Rutu waited for Jadeja to continue, but when he didn't, he had to ask himself,

"Did I mess up? I probably did"

Jadeja chuckled loudly, "oh no no, I loved that. Maza aaya"

Rutu sighed in relief but then Jadeja spoke again, "But on second thoughts, you probably did mess up a bit. "

Rutu's energy dropped immediately, "Yeah right, I'll be careful next time. I didn't know it will get viral like that and.."

"Oh cheer up Capsyy, you said nothing wrong. People are just dumb" Jadeja uttered as soon as he heard Rutu's voice dropping.

"Yeah, but I don't want to get lynched there next time. I'm fairly happy in my life"  Rutu spoke and Jadeja let out a soft chuckle again. The boy couldn't stop with his puns and will surely get into more trouble. As much as he didn't want Rutu to stop being himself, he also knew that social media is brutal and it took too much strength to not let it get over you.

"You better not. Do you have any idea what storm your lil pun has brought on social media? "

Rutu stared at his phone screen in confusion, what was Jaddu bhai actually trying to say?

"Bhai, you called me to scold for it or telling me that you loved it? You are behaving bipolar"

Jaddu sighed, he actually had no idea.

"Scold for it obviously. You've got my point or do you need the lecture? " Jaddu asked, mildly annoyed at himself.

"Lecture may be? "

Jadeja could hear the grin and he was annoyed. This lil brat!

"You need something more than lecture actually. Lemme take Mahi bhai into conference"

The threat worked and Rutu immediately shouted in no, "I get your point Jaddu bhai. We don't need to disturb Mahi bhai at this hour"

"So you really get the point? " Jadeja asked, not believing him. Because he himself still didn't get it, he was still in two minds.

"Yup. Either shut up or stay away from reels or twitter once it gets spicy. I do the latter" Rutu answered.

"You better start doing the former as well kid, life will be easier" Jaddu said.

"I'll try bhai. Promise"

"Keep the promise. Kabhi kabhi thik hai spice wgerah but people here don't take it too lightly. Public mein avoid kar bas thoda. And you have a match tomorrow? All the best. I need a century"

"Sure bhai...and..thanks for checking up on me"

"Bas oye. Century bana diyo bas kal. Warna I'm sending the clip to Mahi bhai"

"Blackmail kar rahe ho? "

"Ji haan. Bilkul" 

Jadeja took a deep breath once he cut the call. He was not cut out for behaving like a senior. That fact that he could hold on this conversation for two minutes was a big relief for him. He knew he needed to do it. There was no senior in the team now except Mahi bhai and he might not have seen the clip. So he needed to check up on Rutu. That boy was sensible enough to not go through reels etc but with these youngsters, that is too much trust to place and too much to expect.

Phew! Yesterday when I saw the clip I had no idea it will become that big of an issue lol. But peeps on social media have two braincells, can't expect sensibility from them.

As much as I loved the video, I hope the trolls and all dont get to Rutu. At this stage of his career, I would want him to avoid it.
