The quiet groaning and burying of his head in the pillows alerted Laura to the fact that Charles was finally waking up the next morning.

"My head." He groaned. "Oh my god... what even happened?"

Laura laughed, rolling over to face him and he promptly buried his face in her neck to shield his eyes from the sunlight beginning to filter in through the windows.

"You won the race." She laughed. "And then proceeded to set a new world record for the drunkest I have ever seen a person get in such a short space of time."

"I don't even remember getting home." Charles confessed, his voice muffled against her neck.

"You don't remember me crashing your beloved Ferrari?" Laura joked.

"WHAT?!" Charles sat up with a jolt, looking horrified.

"I'm joking, I'm joking." She laughed, putting a hand on his chest to push him back down on the bed.

"Oh thank god... don't do that to me." He laughed quietly.

"I drove it home though." She told him, and he looked at her in a way that suggested he was trying work out if she was telling the truth or not. "I did try and get Carlos to drive you home, or just let me leave the car there but he insisted. It's quite fun actually. I almost enjoyed it."

"You actually drove it?" Charles asked, his hungover brain still really struggling to keep up.

"Yep." She laughed. "Then I dragged your drunk ass all the way back up here and had to wrestle you out of your clothes."

"Oh god, I'm sorry." Charles mumbled hiding his face from her again.

"Don't be sorry, you deserved to celebrate." She smiled, kissing him softly.

Charles pulled away frowning as he suddenly realised there was some weird rusty material under his head, he reached behind himself looking at Laura in bewilderment as he realised it was the Monaco flag that he was holding.

"Oh you were really quite attached to that last night." Laura laughed. "I did try and take it off you but you wouldn't let go of it and I gave up."

"Where did it even come from?" He asked. "I don't think I own one?"

"No idea. You went off to talk to the team with Carlos and came back absolutely wasted wearing a flag on your head." She told him.

"I'd like to tell you it's the most embarrassing thing I've ever done, but it's not." He laughed.

"Noted." She smirked. "Is this going to be a thing after you win every race?"

"Just this one." He told her. "I've been waiting to win this one for a very long time."

"How's your head feeling?" She asked, running her fingers through his hair.

"Probably pretty good actually from how much you told me I drank." He laughed. "You know what would make me feel better though..."

"What's that?" She asked, although the way his lips were trailing down her neck and his hands on her waist had already more or less answered the question.

"If we continued the celebrations." He smirked. "I might just keep celebrating this one for ever."

She laughed quietly as his teeth nipped at the skin on her neck, his hands roaming all over her body. "At least you aren't threatening to rip my clothes this time."

"I did really like that dress last night." He smirked.

"You didn't like it so much when you were too drunk to get it off me." She laughed. "I'm glad you didn't rip it. I might want to wear I again."
