Okay hear me out. Yes France is kinda pervy in the anime. But Francis is one of my fav characters too aside from that. He kinda encouraged Alfred to love his body even if Alfred was a bit uncomfortable by how Francis said it lol. The scene where Alfred is trying to go on a diet and Francis says he stays fit by having lots of sex lol. Francis wanted Alfred to do something that honored his body instead of being ashamed of it.
Also, poor Alfred, diet culture in America is bad.
