Peridot stepped forward, the other gems got into fighting positions, ready to attack at any moment.
"I'm not here to cause trouble." Peridot said "And I'm not here to hurt lapis, either."
"You aren't here to hurt lapis, you say, but look at yourself! You aren't letting her go!" Amethyst shouted
Lapis looked at Peridot, she felt something whenever she saw her, For some reason she felt happy when peridot looked at her. For some reason Lapis felt safe and secure when she was near Peridot, she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay but she couldn't figure out why.
"It's okay. She isn't here to hurt you, I'm sure." Lapis said,quietly.
Pearls jaw dropped "But she captured you! Don't you want to get away?"
"No.. I.." Lapis begun,when she grabbed peridot and ran into a cluster of trees, they continued running until they were sure that the Crystal gems gave up chasing them.
"Lapis, why did you do that?" Peridot asked
"I don't know.. I just.. I feel safer with you for some reason.." Lapis answered, she blushed a pale rose colour.
"Lapis?"
"Yes?"
"Are you afraid of anything?"
"Yes."
"What?"
"Jasper."
"I will make sure she doesn't touch you."
"Really..?"
"Yes."
"Thank you.."
