Kay laughed as Jessica teased her about Alex. Everyone knew she had a crush on him, but she never had the courage to say anything. Tim sighed, what were they gossiping about now, he looked at Jessica with her long blond hair and blue eyes, thinking how pretty she looks when she runs her hand through her fringe.
"Just talk to him", she sighs, "whats the worst that could happen?", Kay raised her eyebrows, " OK, maybe not".
Alex had brown hair, not much darker than Kay's, and green eyes that shone in the sunlight, he walked over to where they sat.
"Hey, you OK ?", he said.
"Yeah, you ?"replied Jess. Kay just nodded, she got so tongue tied when he was around .
"Don't mind me", said Tim, "I'll just sit here, minding my own business, while you flirt with the girls". Kay apologizes but Jess just shrugs him off.
"Merry Christmas ", Laughs Jess,"Did you get me a present".
"No, sorry ."sighs Alex "I got you a card though". Then he walks back to his seat.
