Part four

--- A/N--- Another filler I know but I haven't quite figured out how to get to where this is going yet. Sorry :( xxx

"What's so bad about Alex?" Tim said while giving a rather confused look at Jess as Kay lay with her head on the table.

"No, it's not that I don't like him" mumbled Kay to the table "I just wasn't prepared for this". Tim just looked even more confused and Jess just looked and shook her head.

As soon as Lee had gone Alex came and took his place at the table. Kay immediately shot out of her seat announcing she was going to get the equipment. When she returned to the table she turned to Jess to ask a question but couldn't get the words out due to uncontrollable fits of giggles.

"Why is she laughing?" asked Alex.

"I have no idea" laughed Jess even though she knew blatantly well that it was for two reasons. 1) She was nervous and 2) Jess had been making stupid faces at her. By this point Tim had explained the task to Kay and she was spurting ideas and he frantically scribbled them down until Kay's brain started to go walkies and then he just stopped and stared in utter confusion just listening to where the speech veered off at random points. Jess coughed and Kay jumped a mile then turned and pretended to listen to what Jess had to say all the while staring at Alex but making sure not to let him see her.
