"You're just an ungrateful bitch!" I hear my dad yell to my mum.

"I have nothing to be ungrateful for! You give that whore everything!" My mum yells back.

It's one of those nights again. My parents are going at it. Like usual my mum's accusing my dad of cheating on her with another woman and my dad's just adding fuel to the fire by calling her a bitch.

I hear another glass break and even more yelling. I get out of bed deciding I'm tired of hearing all this commotion.

I made my way over to my window opening it and stepping out of my room. I walk across the garden to my neighbour's house.

I see his bedroom light on which means he's probably still awake. I tap on his window and a few seconds later he comes to open it.

"Parents are fighting again," I tell him.

"I know. I can hear them all the way over here," Zayn says giving me a sympathetic smile. "You can stay here for the night."

"Thanks," I say whilst making my way over to his bed.

Zayn comes to lay beside me, "You're welcome."

With that he turns off the lamp on his beside table. He situated himself until he's turned towards me.

"Are you okay?" Zayn asks with a look of concern.

I notice I have tears running down my face. I wipe them whilst nodding, "Yeah. It's just that my parents keep fighting and it's getting worst. It's ruining everything."

"I know," Zayn says whilst wrapping his arm around my body. "Everything will be okay soon."

I cuddle into his chest and put my head on his chest. I inhale his scent, he always manages to smell amazing.

"Thanks you, Zayn. Really you're the best person ever," I say.

"What can I say, that's what neighbours are for."

We both chuckle at his statement.

"Goodnight Leigh-Anne." Zayn says after our laughter dies down.

"Goodnight Zayn."
