Fourth of July. The holiday that has all Americans going wild and repping their country. Quite funny how they hate their country the other 364 days. But who am I to say anything, I am one of those Americans.
Celebrating the fourth of July is the most awesome thing in the world. Like you get to drink tons of alcohol, eat loads of barbeque, and pop the biggest, loudest fireworks ever.
Except I won't be participating in fireworks this year because I certain someone is scared of them. I turn to look at said person.
Stupid Harry.
He ruined my plans of popping fireworks by telling me that he was scared. Of course I got upset because he should've told me before I went out and spent about $200 on fireworks I won't be using.
Then we got into a huge argument about how I shouldn't have spent that much in the first place. So now we were sitting on separate sides of living room, spending the best holiday inside. No alcohol or barbeque for me.
I look out the window and see that it's getting dark. I smile to myself knowing that the fireworks were about to start. I could probably see them from here.
"What are you smiling about?" I hear Harry ask.
I immediately wipe the smile from my face and turn towards him, "Nothing."
"Okay," Harry says while nodding.
He goes quiet and turns toward the other window, "It's getting dark."
"I can see that," I say a little to harshly. I'm might still be a bit to upset that I won't be able to do my own firework display.
Harry let's out a sigh, "Look, I know how much you wanted to do your little firework thing and I've been thinking. Maybe we should do it."
A big smile grows on my face, "Really?"
"Yeah. But let's just do the small ones, yeah?" Harry asks with a bit of a scared look on his face.
I give him a sympathetic smile, "Yeah we'll do the small ones. I can always do the big ones another time."
"Okay," Harry says still sounding a bit scared.
I get up to go to the closet where I put all my fireworks. I open the closet only picking out the small, harmless fireworks. I head to the kitchen, opening the cabinet that I put all the lighters I recently bought.
"I'm ready," I say to Harry who's still sat in the same place.
"Right," Harry says pushing himself off the couch.
We walk to the backyard and I turn to Harry, "I know that you're have a dear of fireworks so I only picked the nice quiet ones.
I show him the fireworks I picked out: 4 sparkles, a bag of smoke bombs, firecrackers, etc. (I don't know any names of fireworks)
Harry grabs one of the sparkles and I help him light it. He jumps a bit when it comes to life.
"This is so cool," Harry says looking at the sparkler in awe.
"I know right," I say while lighting my own.
We twirl around the sparkler, writing words in the air. We do that until the sparkles run out.
"What do those do?" Harry asks pointing to the smoke bombs.
"Well you light them up ans they eject different colors of smoke and that's why they are called smoke bomb."
"Oh," Harry says nodding. "Can I try one?"
I nod, handing him one. He grabs one of the lighters and lights the bomb.
"Ouch, that's hot." He says throwing the bomb on the ground.
I let out a laugh, "You weren't suppose to hold it."
I turn towards the smoke bomb seeing a orange cloud of smoke coming out of it. I look to Harry ans he has a huge smile on his face.
"What'll think would happen if you put two of them together?" Harry asks still looking at the smoke.
I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know. Why don't you try it."
"Okay." He says.
He takes a blue and purple one out of the bag. He lights them and throws them to the ground. Blue and purple smoke comes out of the bombs and they mix together to make a blue-purplish smoke.
"I like these," Harry says looking at me.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Mmhmm," Harry hums out. "We should do these everyday."
"Yeah we should," I say chuckling a bit.
Harry turn towards the table where all the things were. Harry picks up one off the firecrackers. "What about these?"
"Those are firecrackers. They make sort of a cracking sound when you light them up." I tell him.
"Are they loud?" He asks a bit skeptical.
"Sorta. They aren't as loud as the bigger ones though." I say.
"Alright," Harry says lighting up one of the firecrackers.
He throws it to the ground and immediately they start making a loud cracking sound. Harry jumps at the sound, screaming and covering his ears. He runs into the house and stands behind the closed sliding door.
I go to the door, sliding it open. "Harry, are you okay?"
Harry nods his head, "Yeah. It was just a bit louder than expected."
I go to give him a hug. I wrap my arms around his torso and put my head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Harry says wrapping his arms around me and putting his head on mine.
We stand there slightly swaying. I lean back to look up to him. "Do you wanna go back out there or go watch a movie?"
"Let's go back out there," Harry says.
"Okay," I say grabbing his hand and guiding him back outside.

Hello you guys.
I know the 4th of July passed but I just wanted to do this.
Did you like it?
It's about 950 something words long.
My endings suck I know. It's like so hard to start and end them. But I persevere.
Soz for the typos. I don't like to proofread my works. Maybe I should find someone else to do it.
Yeah I might. Goodbye. Love ya
