It's As Easy As Pie (Zeigh)

Leigh-Anne is 14 years old
Zayn is 15 years old

I let out a nervous breath and wipe my sweaty palms on my uniform pants.

"You can do this Zayn. It's as easy as pie," My friend Louis says.

"Yeah, you're right." I say nodding my head.

I start walking towards Leigh-Anne. I feel my palms getting sweaty again and I turn back walking towards Louis.

"I can't do this," I tell him.

"Zayn, Zayn, Zayn." Louis says while shaking his head. "How hard is it to ask out a girl? Literally the worst thing she can do is say no."

"Right. The worst thing she can say is no. But I don't want her to say no," I say whining a bit.

"Zayn she won't say no, you're a catch. Now go and ask her." Louis says giving me a push in her direction.

I walk towards Leigh-Anne's locker again. I see her talking to her friend, Jade (sidenote: Leighade is real). They're laughing at something Jade just said.

As I get closer I smell the familiar scent of Leigh-Anne's perfume. I walk up behind her and tap on her shoulder.

She turns around and gives me a small smile, "Hi Zayn."

"H-Hi Leigh-Anne," I say giving her a nervous smile.

"Is there something you wanted?" She asks.

"A-Actually there i-is," I pause taking a deep breath. "I-I wanted to k-know i-if you maybe y-you wanted t-to g-go on a d-date with m-me?"

Leigh-Anne turns towards Jade before looking back at me, "Sure."

I feel a smile grow on my face, "Good, good."

"Mmhmm," Leigh-Anne hums out while nodding.

"I'll come by your house to pick you up on Saturday," I say.

"Okay," Leigh-Anne says then she turns back toward a Jade.

I turn around as well and start walking back towards Louis and I's locker.

"So what'd she say?" Louis asks.

"She said yes," I say excitedly.

"Told you. It's as easy as pie," Louis say a smug look on his face.

"Whatever," I say turning to look at Leigh-Anne. A satisfied sigh escapes.

I can't wait until Saturday.
