"Amoy! Come a di hospital now, wi just find sup'm girl!" Bridget panicked, her voice shaky, her heavy breathing cutting through. I could tell she was walking.

I jumped up, grabbed daddy's keys and drove out the Corolla.

My mind rushing with endless possibilities. Gripping my fingers in the steering, I sank my feet deeper in the gas.

I swerved into a parking spot under 20 minutes.

Slamming the door behind me, I ran towards the main entrance. Spotting Bridget near the nurses' station, I barely had time to reach her before she grabbed my hand, leading us to the lab.

Dr. James stood at the lab bench as we pushed the door open. He looked up from the spectrometer, his eyebrows raising as he spoke.

"Yuh know in my 24 years as a doctor... mi never see a vitamin like this before," his voice heavy with doubt.

"Cause it's not a vitamin," I said, shrugging into a lab coat and walking closer to the tablet display, it's light glaring.

"My point exactly," he said, pinching particles with his gloved fingers. "I found Lorazepam in it."

My eyebrows knit together.

"That's part of the Benzodiazepine family?" I asked, worriedly.

"Yes."

"It treats anxiety, mi nuh have anxiety. What's the side effects?" I felt my eyes twitch, my heart pounding my chest.

"Well...misuse can cause confusion, drowsiness... and memory loss."

Memory loss?

I froze.

"What's wrong? Do I need to get the police involved?" Dr. James reaches for the phone. I slowly shook my head no.
