Mystic Temper

Under the dark night in the sky over the city, the Lotus Ninjas stood on the rooftop of the building and looked out over the laboratory building to catch the Kraang as Donna was peering through a telescope.

"Anything, Donna?" Lee asked.

"Not yet." Donna replied.

Ella was sitting on the ground with her eyes closed while leaning against the rooftop skylight with her arms folded over her chest. Ellie was repeatedly poking her older sister on every limb in amusement, but Ella finally grabbed Ellie's finger and pounced on her in a head lock as Ellie was yelping in pain.

"Girls, zip it!" Lee hissed, turning to glare at her two younger sisters. "We kunoichis are on surveillance, so we're supposed to be silent!"

"We will until Ellie says it!" Ella said threateningly at Ellie.

"Rafaela is all wise and powerful!" Ellie said as she rolled her eyes.

"And?" Ella asked slyly.

"And she's better than me in every step of the way!" Ellie added as she was gasping for air.

"And?" Ella smiled, holding her younger sister down tightly.

"And I'm a lonely worm who isn't fit to live on the same planet as her because she's so amazing and I'm a dirtbag!" Ellie continued.

"And?" Ella grinned as she held her flaming fist over Ellie's head.

"And in the history of the universe there's never been..." Ellie said quickly with a fright look on her face.

"Ok, that's enough!" Lee snapped.

Ella got off of Ellie and walked towards Lee with her bored look on her face.

"Look, we're wasting our time here." Ella said. "It's obvious that the Kraang aren't going to show up."

"How about having a little amount of patience in your life?" Lee said.

"Trust me, girls." Donna grinned confidently. "The Kraang are gonna break into that lab tonight because I have reliable Intel."

"Oh really? Intel?" Ella smirked. "Because Casey told you."

Donna looked a little bit embarrassed at Ella's words.

"AKA her boyfriend." Ellie smiled teasingly.

Donna then glared at Ellie with a sidelong look. Donna formed a crush on Casey from the moment she saw him, but now her sisters are too aware about it for a tease.

"He's not my boyfriend, Ellie!" Donna snapped at Ellie. She wasn't paying attention to Lee and Ella, who were exchanging grins with each other. "He's a boy who's a friend that got kidnapped by the same alien freaks who are gonna break in that lab and we're gonna stop them!"

"Or we could camp here in the cold for no reason at all." Ella said sarcastically.

"What's going on up here?"

The Lotus Ninjas stood around in shock when a teenage boy was coming out of the rooftop door. They recognized the boy from Roosevelt High. His name is Tony Hunnam. He was the school bully and captain jock of the football team who was known for always picking up fights with Ella, who always wins them any time they make contact.

"Lee! Donna! Ella! Ellie!" Tony sneered. "Are you girls in some kind of costumes? Halloween is here for the next few months!"

"No, Tony." Lee said calmly. "We're just..."

"Like if this was any of your business!" Ella snapped angrily.

"I don't know how are we gonna explain this to him." Donna said as she raised her eyebrow.
