Lia's POV
As I walked into the school I saw Lexi and Mark talking by my locker. I started to speed walk up to them. Marks back was facing me so I went up and tried to scare him. He turned around and saw me about 2 feet away from him
"What are you doing here? I thought you were moving?"- Mark asked me
"I'm saying goodbye to everyone and getting the last whif of normal I can get"- I said giggling and smiling
"I'm gonna miss you so much in California. You will have to call me everyday and tell me how many people go surfing" - Lexi said almost in tears
"You know I will. And it's probably not that different from Florida." - said as we walked to our first period, English, and sat down.
The rest of the day was a blur. All we did was sit in class and watch movies or we did work out of our books.
When I was walking home my mom drove by and asked if me and Lexi needed a ride. We said no and kept walking. When we got to my house we ran to my room and started playing on our phones. After about 3 hours Lexi went home and I went to go get dinner.

"We are flying out to Cali tomorrow and staying in a hotel until our furniture comes. So pack clothes carvers and bathroom things now." - mom tells me and steph.
"Ok."- me and steph said simultaneously.
I ran upstairs to start packing and my phone buzzed. It was Mark, He asked if he could come over for a bit and I said, ya, only for a little.
DING
I heard the doorbell and ran into the kitchen then into the door. As I opened the door Mark was holding a heart locked necklace. "Mark you are so sweet this is so beautiful."- I said looking at the necklace. I hugged him and we walked to my room. I had always had a little crush on Mark. He was always so sweet and gave me little gifts. I sat on my bed and he sat at the foot and lied down. "Promise me things will never change between us lia"- Mark said looking at my fan. "Things won't change. Me you and le-"I started to say before Mark cut me off. "No between me and you. Like we won't have this secret relationship."- Mark said sitting up. "Um ok? Thing won't change"- I said weirdly but surely. Mark came and sat closer to me and looked me in the eyes. His eyes are a greenish blue. They are beautiful. Like the ocean.
Marks POV
I sat up and moved closer lia. Her eyes, her facial features are absolutely beautiful. I have always liked Lia. Even her name is beautiful. I have always loved our secret romance. Ever since we met In 9th grade I have loved her. I always flirted with her and I don't think she ever found that out.

I leaned in for a kiss. Her lips are so soft and the kiss was absolutley amazing. It felt so long yet so short and it just felt. Right.

Lia POV
He leaned for a kiss and I was gonna back away but I couldn't resist. His kiss was amazing. And I felt like it was the best kiss ever. When I pulled away he was blushing. "I'm gonna miss you Lia. A lot and I will try to come and visit as much as possible. I- I really like you."- Mark said. Steph walked in and said Mark had to leave since we had to get up early for our flight. Me and Mark walked downstairs and outside by the front door. Mark leaned in for a hug and I gave him a really tight hug around the waist. He whispered, I love you, I'm my ear and I held on a little longer. It was getting dark so I said he should go and get rest.
