October 16th, 2018:

Claire and Anna were hanging out together, for the first time in almost three years, without their children being there with them.

Elsa and Alice had started attending Reception that year, having officially turned 4 at the end of July, with a huge birthday party Claire had attended once she had been back from her vacation with her friends and before leaving on the family vacation that had been ruined by her older brothers joining them.

As for Theodore, he was currently in Nursery school as well, and David would be the one to pick him up that day, before clocking in at the gym: in the afternoon, Claire had a meeting with Alfie who wanted to talk to her in person about some pretty exciting opportunities that had come up for Claire and that had both to do with her acting career and something else he hadn't wanted to share with her on the phone. Claire was keeping her fingers crossed that it'd turn up being something as incredible as the stunt he had pulled on her when he had introduced her to those Netflix executives that had led her to obtaining her first series regular role.

It had been a pretty nice morning: Claire had dropped Theodore off at school at exactly 9AM and then had embarked on the Jubilee line to begin the first half of her journey to her sister's house before joining her in opening her studio and keeping her company during a pretty slow morning.

Anna's clients had been wary of her opening a studio at first, not really being impressed with the price raises Anna had found herself forced to apply to be able to pay bills and keep the entire thing open, but since they had grown used to her and she was trusted and respected in the area, they had quickly shut their mouth and accepted the change, remaining as regulars.

What was best was that she had also managed to gain some new clients, since her studio was so fucking cool to see from outside that people were drawn to it and would walk inside without needing to be asked to, inquiring about what Anna could do for them and when her first free spot on the agenda would be. Once they saw just how much of a gem Anna was, they'd quickly become regulars.
