Claire and Harry got over the weirdness caused by that minor lapse in judgement they both had had by doing what they did best: they didn't talk about it. 
It came so easily and naturally to them that by the following morning, already, they were fine and ready to begin as if everything had been normal and totally on track. 
There was just one, tiny, absolutely unmissable detail that would now torment Claire in the back of her mind whenever Harry's name was mentioned: she still liked him; her crush hadn't disappeared and she hadn't moved on. At all. Her feelings for him had just been dormant, waiting for the right time to sprang up on her and remind her she was nothing but a little piece of clay in his hands.
