Beacon Hero Academia Volume 1
Chapter 9 | Act II: A Difficult Setting...

As the portal shrinks slowly, an ominous voice comes from it, worrying the already shocked and scared students.

"It seems that only Thirteen and Eraserhead are the only heroes here, that's odd. From the schedule we received, All Might was supposed to be here." The supposed portal known as Kurogiri said. His body was covered in purple smoke, with the only exception being his suit, pants, and a metal piece around where his neck should be.

Over to the crowd of students and two teachers who were still shocked, Aizawa grabbed his scarf and scowled slightly in annoyance. "That explains it now, those idiots were the reason the barrier got destroyed. They used the press as a cover." He said as he prepared himself. The rest of the class looked in concern and slight panic after hearing the statement from their teacher.

Izuku still looked the most shocked out of everyone, they wanted to kill All Might? And something called the Fallen Maiden? How would they even do that? And what the hell is that big bird thing? These questions were cut as part of the stinging pain was still partially in his head, causing him to rub his head in slight annoyance, his action didn't go unnoticed by Yang, who was helping him keep steady.

"Hey Zuku, you doing okay?" She asked, worried for her friend, Izuku continued to rub his head, feeling the small sting slowly fade, he turned over to Yang, seeing her face, the concern was readable. But after one good check, he felt the stinging subside, giving her a small smile.

"Yeah, I think I'll be alright, it was just some random stinging. But we should focus on them. One of them mentioned wanting to kill All Might," said Izuku, not wanting to turn away from the group of villains at the center. One of which, with what seemed like multiple hands being attached all over his body, walked up in front.

"He was meant to be here, and yet he isn't here. I even went through the trouble of bringing so many of my friends with me, they all wanted to meet the so-called 'Symbol of Peace', and yet he's not here." The dry-blue-haired person said in a tone of confusion and slight frustration, but if it wasn't for the hand in front of his face, they would've seen the cracked smile forming on his face. "Oh well, maybe if we kill some of those kids up there, maybe he'll arrive."

His statement makes the class's panic multiply nearly tenfold, Aizawa gripping his scarf in preparation for combat. Meanwhile, Izuku was lost in his world, his thoughts racing. How were they able to get through without being seen? And even here, because Thirteen just mentioned that there were intrusion sensors in the USJ.

'If that's the case, one of them must have a quirk that allowed them to hide their presence, meaning there could also be a chance that U.A. or All Might don't know about this.' Izuku thought, but then he realized, he, along with his students, left their phones on the bus.

He both mentally and physically wanted to facepalm, but a mental one was for the best. Looking back up to see his teacher preparing to jump down and fight the villains, which made Izuku feel a bit conflicted. 'He's able to erase their quirks, sure, but when it comes to overwhelming numbers or people who are slightly stronger, he might be at a bit of a disadvantage. So once he gets put against too many, that could spell a bit of a problem.' Izuku thought, knowing what he was planning on doing might be a bit stupid, and could get him in some trouble in the aftermath, but to hell with that.

Aizawa pulled down his goggles, walking slightly back to get a running start, and just as soon as he was about to jump down the volley of stairs in front, he was left surprised as a green blur moved past him. But when he saw who caused that green blur, not only he, but many others were left shocked, surprised, and more importantly, horrified.
