Beacon Hero Academia Volume 1
Chapter 10 | Act III: The Final Boss Approaches
———————————————

Continuing from the Shipwreck Zone...

After rounding up the group of villains at the shipwreck zone, or what is now left of it, Izuku, Shoka, Mineta, and Asui all used their air momentum and Shoka's ice to hover over the rest of the water. Once they found a part that went up to their waist, they decided to lay low and walk the rest of the way there, Asui letting go of Mineta and Izuku as they landed safely.

The four looked back at the giant drifting ice ball in the middle of the water. "Well, it seems like they won't be going anywhere for a while," Asui said while turning over to her fellow green-haired classmate. "Nice plan Izuku."

Izuku turned to her, a soft smile on his face. "Thanks, but I guess we don't have much time to rest. We need to head back to Thirteen and the others, " he said. The others nodded in agreement, but then they heard Izuku hiss as they looked at his fingers. Their looks of concern grew as his normal fingers now looked dry pink and swelled.

"Midoriya, are you okay man?" Mineta asked, his hand holding onto the boy's arm.

"Y-Yeah, just a little injury, I'll be alright," said Izuku, taking some spare bandages from the mini bag attached that went with his costume and wrapping it around his fingers. "Come on, if we head to the shore near the exit, we can avoid the Central Plaza and those villains," said Izuku, pointing in the direction of the shore.

"Sounds good, It means we can get to the others and avoid the villains Mr. Aizawa is fighting right now." Said Todoroki. The group then slowly made their way through the shore, hoping they wouldn't make themselves seen, but as they traversed through, explosions and fighting caught Izuku's ears, turning over at the crowd of villains that were aiming to take down his uncle, which all he could do is hope he doesn't get hurt, let alone killed.

'I know he said he'd be fine, and I know I trust him, but at the same time, if he continues like this, he might overexert himself before taking care of the rest...' Izuku hoped as he continued.

"Guys, go ahead, find the others, and help them if they're stuck with something. I'm going to sit here and watch over the fight," said Izuku, his request shocking the others.

"W-Wait! You don't mean you want to join in and fight them?! Not only could Aizawa give us an earful, but I have a feeling why those guys have been waiting in the middle for most of this trip, it's too dangerous!" said Mineta.

"I have to agree with Mineta here, I don't think Aizawa would be happy knowing we came back to him again, plus we barely got out of that whole ship alive, we'd get in his way," Tsuyu added.

"I'm not going to jump in instantly. Just watch from here and see how bad things will play out. I'll see if I can back him up if worse comes to worst. Plus, the others around the USJ still need help getting back to them, so go on," said Izuku. The others were unsure of his choice but ultimately nodded.

"Just, be as safe as you can dude, I don't think the class would be happy seeing you go." Said Mineta, Izuku nodded with a small smile, as the others snuck back through the shore, meanwhile, Izuku crouched low, peeking slightly as he watched Aizawa in concern.

'Please be safe uncle...' the boy wished again as he stayed hidden, hoping that if all went well for his uncle, he could follow the others back to the entrance.

LANDSLIDE ZONE.

The last villain finally fell to the ground, both Yang and Blake were panting slightly as they were fighting what seemed like a huge hoard of villains for about a few minutes, but the final one went down, giving the two a chance to breathe a huge sigh of relief.
