•Chapter 7•

Matt's POV

I don't know what got into me. I saw Hayes and Bella together and I was chill at first. But fucking Ed Sheeran had to play thinking out loud...

She said that he was her best friend and I understood that they needed best friend time and whatever. I saw him kiss her cheek and dance with her that anger took over me. I couldn't control it and I just went over and punched them. It's all my fault for letting my anger take over me...

But I got other things to worry about anyways. There's things I'm not telling her but she'll find out eventually...

Bella's POV

I woke up in a hospital bed surrounded by flowers, bears holding chocolates and brownies. I smiled and got out of bed and grabbed 3 brownies. I sat back down on the bed and ate my brownies. For real, it was like tasting heaven.

"I see your up." Kayla said holding a DCCF from Starbucks.

"Yea thanks bae." I said hugging her while taking the drink.

"So what happened? All I remember was the concert and-" I started tearing up.

She came up to me and embraced me with a hug.

"It's okay" She rubbed my back.

"Where's Hayes?" I asked.

She sighed, "Matt beat him up pretty bad, he's sleeping in another room."

"Room?"

She looked at me, "208."

I got up and went into his room. There laid Hayes's lifeless body. I started tearing up.

I examined his face. He had bruises, scratches, and was pale. I went up to him and ran my fingers through his hair. I held his hand and kissed it.

"I'm sorry Hayes, I miss you." I cried.

His eyes fluttered open. He smiled weakly. He was about to speak when I kissed his cheek.

"Don't say anything. Rest okay?" He nodded and smiled.

I walked out when a hand grabbed me. I turned around and saw Matt. His eyes were blood shot red and his cheeks were stained with tears. His fists were bleeding and bruised up. "What could you possibly want?" I groaned.

"I'm sorry Bella. Jealously just got to me. I thought your were gonna cheat. Could you forgive me?" He started crying.

"Matt your nearly killed me and Hayes. I wouldn't cheat on you. Hayes just needed someone. His girlfriend cheated on him. Why would I become an Ashley?" I crossed my arms.

He laughed. God I missed that laugh.

"So?" He asked.

I sighed, "Fine but I swear to God Matt if you freakin touch Hayes again your dead." My stomach held many emotions that I knew that meant I made the worse mistake.

He smiled and hugged me. "I hope I'll be saying this one more time so Bella Dallas will you be my girlfriend?"

I smiled and kissed him softly. I feel like something's not right..

Hayes's PO

There stood Matt and Bella kissing right in front of me. I'm not mad but he freakin beat her for Gods sake! He almost killed me for no apparent reason. I don't have a thing for Bella.. She's my best friend and I care a lot about her.  She walked in smiling and I rolled my eyes, laying back down. She lifted up and covers and got in the bed with me. She wrapped her arms around my waist. I turned around and now our faces were facing each other.

"I'm sorry Hayes." She sighed.

"It's fine remember our promise?" I asked.

She nodded. "It's just I got back together with Matt and-"

"Your kidding me right."

"No what's wrong with that?" She said getting mad.

"Nothing except watch when he cheats on you. He's done that to everyone." I simply said.

"Haye-"

"Don't come to me when he cheats on you."

She got out of the bed and made it to the doorway.

She turned around and tears filled her eyes.

"Guess you can say that. ASHLEY CHEATED ON YOU WITH MATT THE WHOLE TIME YOU GUYS WERE DATING."

"And you still love her don't ya?"

I stood there in shock.

Ashley was cheating on me this whole time with Matt?
