•Chapter 17•

Bella's POV
*Day of Sweet Sixteen*

Today is the day I turn 16. I honestly look like a 13 year old and act like a 10 year old.

Let me tell you what happened these past 4 days. Cam has gotten more stressful each day. Nash and Kayla are on a break. Aaron is keeping his distance from Gabby for some reason. Madi and Hayes are always together.

Matt and I are friends again except he wants me to give him another chance which I'm thinking about it. Well that's pretty much it. It seems like everybody's relationships are going down except for Hayes and I, well not quite.

I woke up with Matt on my side. I was confused because I thought Hayes slept in here last night. I looked over Matt and saw Hayes on the floor sucking his thumb curled up in a ball. I laughed so hard my sides hurt.

Matt eventually woke up and smirked at me, "Like your birthday surprise?"

"Haha yea,"" I laughed.

"Go away I'm gonna change." I shooed Matt.

"Happy birthday Marie!!" He smirked.

I stared at him and shut the door. I looked over at Hayes and saw him in the same position. I smiled. I picked him up and trust me he was heavier than Nash. I groaned then threw him on the bed. He smiled not opening his eyes and pulled me down.

"Happy birthday loser." He whispered.

"Haha I'm officially older than you sucker!" I yelled.

"By 4 days!!" He pouted.

"Love ya Grier." I poked his nose.

I got up and pulled his ear. "Ow! Guess you don't love me that much."

"I do I just wanna change boy." and I closed the door.

I changed into black high waisted shorts, black and white striped blouse, white high top vans and pulled my hair into a high ponytail. I applied a little bit of foundation, eyeliner, mascara and lip-balm. I unplugged my iPhone 5s and headed downstairs. I reached the steps when I saw everyone there. They saw me and smiled. I smiled back and ran over to them. "Hey guys!" I waved.

"Hey birthday girl." JJ hugged me.

"Hey little Dallas isn't so little anymore." Jack G faked cried.

"Hey girly." Mahogany bear hugged me.

"Hey babe." Matt kissed my cheek. Before I could tell Matt anything, I heard screaming coming towards my way.

"BELLA BELLA BELLA." Kayla ran and tackled me.

"Oh my Lord Kayla what did you eat? Pizza?" I laughed on the floor.

"You know it." She smirked.

"ISABELLA DALLAS IS FINALLY 16!!" Gabby cheered sitting on Kayla and I.

"Ugh you don't weigh a pound you know." I groaned. The rest said happy birthday and I thanked them.

"Sooo Bella go out with Hayes for a bit I have to do things and I don't want you distracting me." Cam said.

I frowned, "alright." I sighed.

"Come on bestie!" Hayes sassed picking me up bridal style.

"Back off Grier." Matt growled.

"Hayes no funny business." Cam pointed. "Alright bums." I laughed.

"No promises Matt!!" Hayes smirked and yelled walking out the door.

"Hayes!!!" I yelled as he picked me up bringing me towards a lake.

I kept kicking and punching but he didn't move.

"Nice try Dallas."

Before I could say anything I was surrounded by green water. I tried to reach the surface but my foot was caught on something.

"Help!" I screamed under the water.

I was then pulled out by someone.
I coughed and coughed till I could breath and look at the person that carried me out. My best friend Hayes.

"Oh my gosh Bella I'm so sorry!" He said pulling me into a hug.

"I'm fine Hayes, I promise." I smiled.

"But I thought it was Nash I was about to bring my boot out." I giggled.

He laughed and helped me up.

His phone then ringed and he smiled.

"Let's go back to the house." He said bringing me onto his back.
