Ch 16: Tulgey Wood

Bell pov - 

As we were running  through  the  woods I fell onto a tiger it did a weak and tired roar. I turned into cat form and asked it is it hurt.

"I was attacked by the jabberwocky." She said

"THE JABBERWOCKY! Where is she?" I said worryingly.

"Um she's..." The tiger said with hesitation.

"I know you're hiding information. Just tell me where she is and all will be fine." I said trying to be calm.

"Why do you care you're a cheshire cat you can defeat her easily." The tiger said in a tounting tone.

I looked over and saw Jackie running over from the river I told  her to stay by. When she approached me she grabbed my arm and tried to grag me. I turned into human form and dug my feet in the ground so she can't drag or push me.

"Jackie what are you doing?" I ask her.

"There's a huge dragon." She said.

"Okay we have to go!" I yelled at her.

We ran away from that part of the woods.

"Where is the tiger?" Jackie asked.

"She will not be accompanying us on our journey." I said.

"Why?" Jackie asked.

"BECAUSE !" I  yelled.

"Oh my goodness I'm sorry for yelling at you,  I just can't control myself very well. She is not coming with us because  she was gonna hurt us, she held back information  about  the jabberwocky." I explained.

"So that's a reason to let her die all alone. I'm going to help her get  out of there." She said.

"No the jabberwocky will kill you ." I tried to convince her.

"No it won't. I'm going  with or without you." She said as she was walking  into the woods.

Jackie pov - 

I left Bell and went into the woods looking for the tiger. I passed a sign that said Tulgey Wood I look around and kept walking  around the woods.

"Honk!" A noise said .

I looked around to see what or who said that and no one was around.

"Who said that?" I said

I felt something  wiggling under my foot, I looked and there was a bright purple horn. It was struggling to get out from under my foot so I lift my leg up and it and 4 little horns ran into the pond the big one just kept honking at me. They all swam away. I walked across  the  river.

"Goodness when I get  home I shall write a book about this place, if I ever do get home." I said with a sad tone.

I walked by a small waterfall with 4 umbrellas in the lake.

"Excuse me, can you tell me where I am please. "  I asked politely.

They noticed me there but they flew up onto branch and they gave me the creepiest look ever like they had death in their eyes.

"Um never mind."I said.

I walked way further into the dark mysterious woods.

"It's getting really late. And nothing looks familiar, how am I gonna find her." I said.

I passed up a accordan owl. And then a sign that said 'don't step on the mome rathes'.

"The Mome Rathes?" I said.

I look the sign once more hoping I missed a picture, and there was colorful little stick like things. I take a closer look  at them, they formed into a arrow I followed the mome rathes and they lead me to a path.

I followed  the path but a broom dog come and Sept it away.
