Ch 9: A-E-I-O-U

Jackie pov -

I was trying to find Victoria in the woods, where oh where could she be I just saw her. Oh maybe she's over here. I arrived at a giant mushroom with a huge blue caterpillar sitting on it.

"A-E-I-O-U
A-e- i-o -u,
a -e -i -o u,
a-e- i-o -u,
o-u -e -i -o -a,
o-u- e -i a,
a-e-i-o-u.."
He sang beautifully while I was leaning on the mushroom. He finally noticed me there and stopped singing.

" recite!" He said .

" What?" I asked him

" recite your lesson."

" my what? Oh you mean you think I actually listen to my lessons oh that's cute well you'd better find someone else to recite because I don't know what to recite." I said making him confused.

"Fine then I'll recite maybe you'll learn something." He said in a tounting tone.

"Hmm! How doth the little crocodile
improve his shining tail. And pour
the waters of the Nile, on every
golden scale. How cheer... how cheer...
How cheerfully he seems to grin, how
neatly spreads his claws. And welcomes
little fishes in, with gently smiling jaws." He sang.

" there I hope you've learned something." He started to smoke his hookah.

" you really shouldn't smoke." I was trying to talk but kept coughing on his smoke.

"Stop coughing your running the air." He yelled .

"Oh I'm running the air! You can't tell my what to do your not the boss of me." I yelled back .

"You who are you?" He managed to puff out.

" Well I don't know who I am I've changed so much since this morning you know."I told him.

"I do not know." He puffed.

" I'm leaving. All you do is ask questions." I said while walking away from him.

"Wait ,girl come back I need to tell you something!" He ordered me.

Oh what does he want now.

"Fine." I said while walking back to him.

"Don't lose your temper." He said.

"My temper, well I hope you're on search for your temper because you've lost yours." I tounted

"WHO ARE YOU TELLING ME ABOUT MY TEMPER." He yelled at me.

"You need to calm down. AND THERE IS NO NEED TO... SHOUT." I screamed.

And with that last word the caterpillar dissappeared and his skin and solid gold shoes were all that was left. I sat on a mushroom. And before I knew it the caterpillar was now a butterfly.

" Oh and the advice I was gonna give you is one side makes you bigger, and the other side makes you smaller."He said.

"of what." I quickly asked him

He came back to me as red as a rose, and said.

"THE MUSHROOM, YOU IDIOT." He said angrily.

I took two pices of the mushroom bit the bigger one and...
