Chapter Eight

As we arrived, she looked at me. "What is this place?" She asked. "Follow me." Honestly, it's pretty when we going at night. "Okay." She followed me walked to the bench. From here, we could see a city of seoul. This place is too quiet. So no one will come here. I'm 100% sure about that.

"Luhan, this place is really peaceful." She inhaled her breath while looking at the view. She smile widely. Wow I've never seen that smiles. "You like this place?" She nodded quickly. "Wow, I love this place." I sit on the bench and asked her to sit beside me. She obeyed and we both sit side to side. I looking at the view. "If we come at night, this place will be more beautiful...just like you.." He mumbled the last words. Cherry looked at him.

"Really? So can we stay here until night?" She suddenly asked. My lips curve to smile. "Why not?" I shrugged my shoulder. The wind blowing her hair making me insecure with her beauty. I was staring at her like there is no tomorrow. When she tucked her hair beside her ear. My heart thumping so hard.

What the hell is wrong with me.... Why I'm so nervous?

"Luhan.. How do you know this place??" I chuckled hearing her question. "I just know by myself. That time... I was sad. I ran out of nowhere and I found this place." I took a deep breath. "Are you okay?" I asked. I remembered about last night. She looked scared. Why can't she just tell me?

"Uh? I'm totally fine." She smile bitterly. "You're not." She gave a death glared at me. Okay I took the wrong step. She might kill me now! "Can you stop asking me about I'm okay or not?! I'm fine! If I had a problems, NO ONE CARE." She emphasized her words. I bit my upper lips not wanting to say anything. "But.." I braved myself to asking her again. But she quickly stood up, crossing her arms on her chest.

The silence between us making me feel uneasy. I heard she's sobbing. Wait.. She cry?? "Cherry ah?" She crying so hard. I hurriedly to her. "Hey? I'm sorry for hurting your feelings." I rubbed her arms. She palm her face.

Flashback

"You've never important in my life!! Don't you dare call me omma! You are just-" She took a deep breath. "Erghh! The long I keep you in this house, the more I hate you! Your body worth to the guy out there! Now, just pack your things and go with Mrs Lu! I don't want to see you!" She went out from her room. Cherry sobbed and she with lifeless packing her things.
Mrs Choi thinking the way that she can get out her from her house is selling her to Mrs Lu. This marriage is her planned with Mrs Lu. Mrs Lu really want her son to get married early. So she get what she wants. Without her knowing, Mrs Choi making a deal with her. If she pregnant, she will pay double to Mrs Choi and after that Luhan can divorce her.

Cherry with heavy heart followed Mrs Lu. The last words she heard from Mrs Choi. "Don't you dare pregnant. I don't want you come back here." She whispered at her before she leave. She touched with her words. She knows she didn't deserve there.

"Luhan.. So many things you don't know.. I'm trying.. I'm trying to tell anyone. But I don't have any courage. I'm too coward." Luhan was speechless. All he can do patted her back to comfort her. "You can tell me, Cherry. I can be trusted. Just.. Tell me okay? I'm..your..husband. So.. I have a right to know." He stuttered. Cherry looked at him and then she sit down on the bench.

She told him every single things at him. His reaction really surprised. He feel bad to her. She telling him with tears non-stop falling. Luhan fervently listened to her story. Luhan's eyes started to teary when he look at her, depressed and crying. Luhan make a move, he pulled her into his embraced. "Shh, Cherry.. You safe with me. No one will hurts you. Trust me. I can protect you." Cherry listened every words he said. But she can't trust anyone just like that. She have been hurt and tortured before.

Mrs Choi trying to get her away out from her families. Just one rules, she can't pregnant. If she did, Luhan will divorce her and then she had to go back to them. Mrs Choi really didn't want her in that house. That's makes her sad and dissapointed with herself.

Cherry let go his arms and wiped her tears with her back hand. Luhan wiped her tears with his thumb. Their eyes locked to each other. Cherry and Luhan blushed at the same time. Their hearts beating really fast. Cherry avoided his eyes. Luhan look away and smile secretly.

Jinjja.. I falling in love.

Luhan laughed silently at the thought. He stared at her who was seems miles away. Luhan tucked his both hands in his pocket while staring at her from afar. Cherry has stop crying, she just stayed quiet. Luhan love seeing her quiet and not aggresive. Cherry sense he staring at her that's makes her turning her head to him. He surprised, he quickly turned his head to the view.

"I'm sorry you have to listen my story." She said. Luhan chuckled. "It's okay. At least, I know your problems. I will help you don't worry." Luhan still don't know what Mrs Choi to her about pregnant thingy. She can't tell him about that.

They both stayed here until night, she was sleeping and suddenly her head landed on his shoulder. Luhan surprised and numb. He couldn't move. No one girls ever do that to him. So he feels different in this situation. Cherry sleeping peacefully on his shoulder. Luhan can't hold himself from smiling like a idiot. He stared at her face, her flawless skin, her cute eyes and lips. She pouted while sleeping. That's making Luhan happy.

After recognized her face, his tummy making a sounds. He hungry, he really wants to eat dinner. He slowly caressed her cheeks. "Cherry ah.. Cherry." She opened her eyes. Her eyes half opened. She smell his scents and she quickly sit straight. She embarassed with him. "I'm-I'm sorry." She stuttered. Luhan tucked her hair beside her ear. "What do you want to eat? I'm hungry now." He still caressing her hair. Cherry feel uncomfortable and she slowly shoved his hands.

"Want to eat chicken?" He asked. She suddenly feel hungry. She nodded her head. "Okay, I will buy for us. Wait here." He stood up and Cherry called his name. "Luhan!" He turned around. "Take care." His lips curved to smiles and nodded his head. After he left to buy food. She secretly smiles.

Why my heart pounding? Did I.. Oh no way.

She cleared the thought of him. She half shouted when she saw the lights turning on. She could see the pretty view of Seoul at night. "Woahhh! Beautiful!!" She pulled out her phone and taking a picture. She excited to see the stars twinkling in the sky. She never felt this happy before. But when she comes to this place, all her problems solved.

She feels like everything she told Luhan it's making her peaceful a little. She just needs someone to express her feelings and that's it. Luhan can be the good listener.

Why I can't be friendly with people??

She sighed and then she taking her pictures with the background of the Seoul City at night. After thirty minutes, Luhan come back with the food he bought. He stopped when he saw she chuckling while looking at her phone. But then she took a picture again and again. Luhan smile and just watch her from afar. Tsk.. I thought you don't have a heart anymore.

When she was about to take another picture. Luhan was standing behind her. She saw him through her phone camera. She quickly looked down, embarassment. Luhan landed his arms on her shoulder. "Let's go eat." He whispered then smile.
Cherry palm her face and they ate dinner together.

I guarantee, tomorrow she will become moody like always. Let just stay here until late night. I want to see your smiles. I wish time not jealous with me... Please let us stay like this for a while. :")
