"I'm only seventeen, I don't know anything but I know I miss you." (FTV)

-October 15, 2010

"Happy birthday, dear Nara... Happy birthday to you!" their uncles finished singing.

Nara just left out a light laugh and blew off the candles as Eric and Robin started to applaud. Robin with some dificulties as she had the camera in her hand.

Today it was her seventeen birthday, and the first she has had in six years.
She was excited and nervous, so much had change this last year.

It was also the first one in six years that she spent at the mortals world. Until now, her experience as a normal teenager wasn't as bad as she had expected, she hadn't blow up her school (yet) and she even had spent the evening with some friends from her new high school (shocking, she knows) and now with her uncles she celebrated it with at dinner at home. As any other girl would do, with no power, godly things or monsters in sight.

"Yayy, our little girl is getting old." Eric joked huging her. "Happy birthday, dear."

"Thank you so much." she said as she hugged her aunt too.

"Oh, my dear" Robin said huging her back. "Now cake and present time!" Her aunt exclaimed.

Their uncles gifted her a couple of new piano songbooks and some clothes, but when she was already in her room, ready to go to be her uncle came with a strange and big package left.

"I almost forget this, it has arraived this morning." Her uncle explained passing it to her.

She opened the box and found a beautiful new blue guitar and a bouquet of white roses with a note.

She quickly got up and went into her dorm and read it.

"Dear Nara,
Hope this present finds you well.
I remembered that you broke your guitar last summer so I thought we (Annabeth, Giselle, your siblings and I) could get you a new one.
The flowers are uterly mine, I just remembered out letters and, well, it just felt right.
Hope you don't mind.

Happy birthday

-Percy Jackson."

Her heart felt a lot heavier now. Her eyes red and wet in anticipation of tears. When did they went from nicknames to first and last name basis?

She threw herself to her bed. She didn't knew if she rather cry or throw up. She had mess it up so bad.

The worst thing is that she knew it was all her fault. She cut him off, and now this was her price.
Not that she regretted it, she did what she had thought it was best, but the worst part is that she was breaking her own heart in the process.

Huh, how ironic. If she goes through this and fell even harder, she would die, not going through with this, she dies anyways from a heartbreak.

Since she couldn't risk to let her siblings or her friends to go through another loss, she knew it was okey, but she wasn't fine at all.

She stayed like that, beating herself up and overthinking all the situation until she felt asleep, but she didn't find any peace in her dreams either.
