"Hey, babe," Phil squeaked, making his way across the room to see Ross, his boyfriend of three years. Drunk Phil was worried when his boyfriend continued to keep his back to him, so he wandered over, quickly spinning the boy around and kissing him.
"What the hell?!" A voice called from across the room. Phil thought the voice sounded an awful lot like his boyfriend's, but it couldn't have been. He was kissing-
"Look at Dan Howell! Gonna be getting some from Ross' boyfriend over there!" Someone called, and Phil finally looked at who he had been kissing. He stopped, and his blue eyes caught hold of terrified brown ones- the eyes of Dan Howell, and not his boyfriend. He looked at the other boy for a few more seconds before looking across the room to see his boyfriend, pushing past people to leave the party and the house. Phil whimpered, pushing himself away from Dan and through the crowd as he followed Ross out the front door.
"Ross! Look, I'm sorry! I'm just really drunk, I didn't mean to kiss that kid!" He cried, getting into Ross' car with the other boy.
"Phil, get the fuck out of my car." Ross whispered, but Phil did as he was told.
"I love you. Please be safe." Phil hummed before closing the car door and stepping back from the car. When Ross pulled out of the driveway, Phil started sobbing, and walked down the driveway, getting ready to walk home. He wasn't far down the street when he heard someone run up behind him. He flinched as the running person got closer to him, until he heard a soft voice mumble "Don't worry." Phil looked up to his right to see Dan walking beside him, staring at the ground.
"I'm sorry. I really thought that you were Ross." He hummed, copying Dan and staring at the ground.
"That's alright. I mean, it wasn't for you and Ross, but a really cute boy kissed me, and I think that's a plus." Dan chuckled, trying to make light of the situation. "Really though," He continued after some silence between the two, "I hope you and Ross work things out." There was a sadness in his voice that made Phil believe that Dan didn't truly want that, but maybe he was just thinking too much. Maybe I don't want to work things out with Ross... Phil thought.
"I hope so, too. He was pretty upset. I just hope we can talk about it some time and work everything out." Phil sighed, as the two boys got closer to Phil's house.
"I live right across the street here," Dan mumbled, and Phil looked up to him.
"For real? I live right up there." Phil pointed to his house and Dan smirked.
"Well, then. Hey there, neighbor." Phil laughed with Dan. "Do you have a kik or something?" Dan asked nervously, and Phil rolled his eyes. "It's just because my parents like to take my phone. Kik is easy to delete if I can't tell someone not to text me." He added.
"Yeah, then. It's AmazingPhil." Phil hummed, and Dan smiled.
"Should I message you later, then?" Dan whispered, looking back towards his house.
"Sure." Phil smiled, and Dan grinned, jogging back to his house as Phil made his way into his own.
