The morning sun painted the Tokyo skyline in hues of gold as the delegation from the Special Region prepared for a day of diplomacy. The tension in the air was palpable, with everyone keenly aware of the weight of their tasks.
Itami stood in the center of their accommodation, briefing the group. “Today, we’ll be splitting up. Princess Piña and Bozes will meet with the Prime Minister and his cabinet to discuss the future of relations between Japan and the Empire. The rest of us—Lelei, Tuka, Rory, and our esteemed visitors from the Galactic Empire—will head to the Diet session.”
Piña nodded, her face resolute. “This is our chance to prove that the Empire is capable of diplomacy and that we are willing to learn from your world.”
Bozes, ever loyal, added, “We will represent the honor of the Empire.”
Palpatine, seated at the corner of the room with Darth Vader looming behind him, let out a low chuckle. “Diplomacy… a noble pursuit. But remember, Princess, true power lies in ensuring that no one dares question your authority.”
Piña hesitated, unsure whether his comment was advice or a veiled warning. She chose not to respond, focusing instead on the task ahead.

Piña and Bozes were escorted to the Prime Minister’s residence under heavy security. The convoy of black cars wove through Tokyo’s bustling streets, the princess and her knight marveling at the sights outside the window. The towering buildings, the crowds of people, and the seamless movement of vehicles were unlike anything they had ever seen.
“This city… it’s like a world of its own,” Bozes whispered.
Piña nodded. “Indeed. If the Empire is to have any chance of survival in the face of such power, we must adapt.”
Upon arriving at the Prime Minister’s residence, they were greeted by a small delegation of officials. The Prime Minister himself, a middle-aged man with a calm demeanor, extended a warm smile as he welcomed them.
“Princess Piña, Sir Bozes, welcome. I trust your stay in Japan has been comfortable so far.”
Piña curtsied gracefully. “Prime Minister, thank you for your hospitality. Japan’s generosity is unlike anything we have ever encountered.”
The Prime Minister led them into a conference room where discussions began in earnest.
“We understand that the Saderan Empire has been the dominant power in the Special Region for centuries,” the Prime Minister began. “However, your encounter with the JSDF has shown that the world is far larger than you had imagined. What are your thoughts on forging a new path forward?”
Piña took a deep breath. “The Empire has always valued strength and tradition. But we are beginning to see that isolation and conquest are not sustainable. I believe that cooperation and understanding between our peoples will lead to a better future for both worlds.”
Bozes added, “The Empire has its flaws, but we are not without honor. We seek to atone for the mistakes of our leaders and ensure that such conflicts do not happen again.”
The Prime Minister nodded thoughtfully. “Japan is willing to assist in rebuilding and stabilizing the Special Region, but there are conditions. The Empire must formally renounce its expansionist policies and take responsibility for its actions, particularly the attack on Alnus Hill.”
Piña’s face tightened. “That… will be difficult to accept for many within the Empire. But I will do my best to advocate for change.”
The conversation continued for hours, delving into trade agreements, cultural exchanges, and security measures. The Prime Minister remained composed but firm, ensuring that Japan’s stance on peace and justice was clear.
