"Rose", said Crystal.
"What"? She asked.
"Will you at least speak, these two guys are just too busy with their problems", said Crystal.
"You can gossip then, like all girls do. I am very interested in what you guys gossip about", suggested Justin.
"Only girls don't gossip", said the three of them together.
Justin raised an eyebrow before he asked, "How do you know, Rhys"?
Rhys shrugged before answering, "You forget, my sister is a girl", said Rhys.
"Last I heard all sisters were girls", said Rose as she slightly looked up from the book she was reading."
"Will you guys stop teasing me, and please stop laughing Justin", said Rhys irritatedly.
" Rose! Don't you know Justin is Rhys's sister"? Said Crystal sarcastically, eying Justin.
"Do you have to always target me"? Asked Justin.
"Chill you both, what about the school elections? Are you taking part Justin", asked Rhys.
"Please don't start again, I am tired of the same discussion", said Crystal.
"I have decided already and I told you guys", said Justin.
" It's breakfast time guys, let's go and eat", suggested Rose.
"Yes, please", said Crystal, joining Rose and the others
"I wonder what you all will do without me"? Asked Rose.
"Where are you going?" asked Rhys.
"Library, obviously", said Rose.
"I'll probably sleep then", said Crystal yawning.
Crystal woke sharply still dazed and tired, trying to focus on the sounds near her.
"Are you fine dear", said a sharp voice.
Crystal tried but couldn't recall the voice at first but later realised that it was the same detective whom she had her last conversation with before entering her subconscious mind.
Memories flooded back as she remembered that she had lost her best friend forever.
Tears rolled down her eyes as she again leaned on the bed giving her aching back a rest and remembering sweet memories.
"You should take some rest, Crystal. I will question you later," said Detective Harper expecting a reply from Crystal but got none, so she left the room.
There was nothing left of her happiness. Everything was gone. She did not feel anything at all, but her face said otherwise. She could hardly keep herself together. She was shaking.
Later, Crystal heard a bit of whispering near the gate of the medical room.
"I hope you will take care of the responsibilities of being the head boy", said a faint voice.
She was trying to grasp the conversation going beyond the door but failed. Suddenly, the door opened, and her eyes closed. She heard a familiar voice, but wait, was it the voice of someone she hated-Mr Crazy.
