(Molly's POV)
"Draco!" I had been looking for him all morning and just spotted him outside the Great Hall. He turned around and when he saw me his face sort of fell. That's weird, he's always happy to see me.
"What's up?" Draco asked.
No 'babe'? No 'darling'? He didn't even smile at me. "What's wrong, babe?" I asked worriedly.
His expression didn't change. "Nothing."
"Ok, if you say so. I was just going to ask if you wanted to go to Hogsmeade together." I looked at him hopefully.
He looked around and wouldn't make eye contact for a minute or two. What is wrong with him? "Did you hear what I said?" I asked, trying to get his attention.
He looked up and met my gaze. "I'm sorry, I have detention," he said without any emotion.
"Wait, what? Since when?" I questioned.
"Um, last night. I couldn't sleep, so I tried to clear my head but got caught," he replied.
"Oh, ok. Well, I'll see you later I guess," I said disappointedly. Maybe I'll go with Ginny.
I waved goodbye to Draco and went back to the Great Hall to find someone to go to Hogsmeade with. I was really looking forward to going with Draco but I guess that's one thing my boyfriend will have to miss out on. Ginny was sitting next to Ron at the Gryffindor table like usual.
"Ginny! Are you going to Hogsmeade?" I asked.
"Hey Molly! Yes, Luna and I are going together. Dean and I were going to go but he canceled at the last minute," she replied.
Ginny and Dean have been dating for awhile now. They were an interesting couple. "Do you mind if I come with you and Luna?"
She smiled. "Of course you can come! Since it's your first time we can show you around all of our favorite shops!" she said excitedly.
"That sounds great!" I said smiling, enjoying the fact that I finally have friends to hang out with.

Hogsmeade was so beautiful. I've had so much fun already. So far, we went to Dervish and Banges—a place for wizard clothing, Zonko's joke shop, and Honeydukes—which was filled with the most wonderful sweets I've ever seen. We were now in The Three Broomsticks drinking butterbeer. It was really good actually. The woman working at the counter seemed to be acting weird. Ginny and Luna didn't think anything of it, so I figured I just didn't know her that well.
"So, are you enjoying Hogsmeade?" Ginny asked me.
I nodded. "Yes! I love it!"
"Hogsmeade is always wonderful," Luna added.
"How are things with you and Draco?" Ginny asked.
I took a sip of my butterbeer. "I thought they were going really well! We've been dating for a month now, but this morning Draco was acting kind of strange," I explained.
"Hmm, that's odd," Luna said.
"Strange how?" Ginny questioned.
"Well, he usually calls me 'babe' or 'darling' and he didn't use either when talking to me. He also didn't even smile or show any excitement when he saw me. Honestly, he just seemed really off," I finished.
"Maybe he was just distracted...?" Ginny suggested.
"Yeah, it's a possibility," I sighed. I continued sipping my butterbeer. "Luna, do you like anyone?" I asked, trying to change the focus off Draco and me.
"Not really," she replied, her shoulders shrugging.
"Oh, okay," I said.
Once we were all done with our butterbeers, it was time to head back to the castle. We each got up from our chairs and headed out of the pub. The three of us were just about out of Hogsmeade when we heard a terrifying scream and noticed a big group of people crowding around. We ran to catch up with the crowd ahead of us. Everyone was blocking what was going on, so I couldn't see.
"There's nothing to see here! Go back to the castle!" One of the professors yelled over everyone. At that moment, I could see what the commotion was about. This girl was being carried and she looked like she was in pain. As the crowd of people started to disperse, I saw someone running out of the corner of my eye.
"You guys go on without me. I'll be there in a minute," I said to Ginny and Luna. They both nodded, and I took off to follow the person. They were still kind of far away so I couldn't make out who it was. I got closer and closer until I recognized him.
"Draco?" I yelled after my boyfriend. He didn't turn around. He just kept running. Where is he going? I thought he had detention–did he lie to me? I decided to yell again, this time louder than before. "Draco!"
He looked back for a second and almost tripped. Then he started to slow down. I caught up to him and looked him in the eyes.
"Why did you lie to me? This doesn't look like detention," I scoffed.
Draco didn't say anything. He just stared at me.
"I'm waiting," I said, then crossed my arms.
He took a deep breath. "I don't know."
"Really? You don't know?" I snapped, getting more angry as the minutes passed.
His face fell completely like he was disappointed at something. "I-I...detention ended early."
"Seriously? Why did it take so long for you to say that? I don't know if I believe you," I fumed.
"I'm telling the truth," Draco wouldn't look me in the eyes.
My heart broke a little at the fact that he's literally lying straight to my face. I uncrossed my arms. "Draco, you've been acting weird for a couple days now, but I just figured it was nothing. Please tell me what's going on," I put my hand on his cheek and brought his eyes to mine. "I'm here for you."
There was a moment of sadness in his eyes and it looked like he was going to be truthful with me, but it disappeared so quickly.
"I already told you the truth," he said quietly.
At that moment, my heart shattered. I was so hurt, it felt like the air had been sucked out of my chest. I quickly dropped my hand from his cheek and just looked at him. There's no way he's telling me the truth right now. I swallowed and fought back tears.
"I can't be in a relationship with someone who doesn't tell me the truth. I'm sorry, but Draco we're done." A tear that I couldn't keep in slid down my cheek. I wiped it from my face and started to walk away.
Draco grabbed my hand trying to make me stay. He looked heartbroken. Which made this even harder.
I ignored the feelings creeping in about Draco's sad expression. I shook my head. "When you're ready to be one hundred percent truthful with me, maybe then we can revisit this. Until then, goodbye, Draco." I took one last look at his face before I took off for the castle. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I ran in the cold. I didn't dare look back, because if I did, I was afraid I might change my mind. As I reached the castle, I wondered if I made the right decision.
