"life has been so peaceful without charlton here, you know?" cecilia said teasingly, looking at tate with an innocent look in her eyes.
tate rolled her eyes with a grin at the girl. "stop talking about him!" she said getting up from the small kitchen table. cecilia followed along with her. "besides, it's time to go get a coffee. i need my fuel."
cecilia looked at her confused with a laugh. "my fuel." she mocked with the smile still planted on her face as if it was mold on bread.
tate pushed her into the wall while they were walking making cecilia put her hands up in surrender. she continued to follow tate like the girl she was.
the car starts once cecilia was inside of it. tate was very concentrated in the moment while pulling out backwards. cecilia looked at the side of her face before shaking her head and looking away.
"let me guess, you get a vanilla iced latte?" tate said with a grin. their information on each other was a bit too interesting. cecilia looked quite surprised she still could remember that but didn't show it.
"yes, of course." she started with a grin. "let me guess, you get the same?" cecilia asked. tate shrugged, a slight smile on her face.
"maybe." is all tate said in reply. the small face that was on her face in the past was now replaced by the grin that was present.
"and that's a yes!" cecilia said putting her hand up in the air with a smile. tate rolled her eyes at her girlfriend's antics.
since the nearest coffee shop wasn't as far away from tate's household, they immediately got there not even a minute later.
tate parked into a spot, clearly a bit lopsided as it always is. it reminded cecilia of times before. the amount of times they came to this exact coffee shop in the mornings, the talks.. it felt like home.
they held hands walking up to the door. "ladies first." cecilia said, opening the door for tate, making tate laugh. her cheeks became a light pink.
"come on." tate said still a blushing mess, putting out her hand for cecilia to take. cecilia gladly took it with a dimple on both of her cheeks.
"won't say thank you?" cecilia teased. tate rolled her eyes as they both walked up to the place you took your orders.
tate said their orders to the barista. the barista looked like they knew who tate was, as she was getting bigger and bigger every day.
"we'll call your names when your orders are ready." the barista says with a smile on her face. cecilia nodded before walking away with tate.
"thank you, cecilia pyra lopen." she said with a grin. cecilia shrugged, acting nonchalant just for her.
"it was nothing." cecilia replied with a shrug, looking back at her face. it was dimly with makeup, showing off her natural looks.
when the two got their coffee they started talking about everything. charlton, media, tate's rise to fame, both of them, everything.
cecilia couldn't think enough of how this felt like home. a lot much. they were like superglue, together always. even if they are forced to be apart.
