Hi, my name is Taylor Grey. I live in Sydney, NSW with my older brother and my mom. My dad left us when I was 7. It's been hard but I'm actually really proud of how my family has recovered from it all. I'm 13 years old and I guess you could say I'm just a pretty average teenager. My brother is 19 but he still lives with us ,because I think he feels like he has to take my dads place. His name is Jordyn and he means the world to me. My family is stable and we have a nice income but there's always going to be a missing piece to us. My dad and I were very close. I was most definitely a daddy's girl. So far I've spent 7 years with him and 6 without. A lot of the time I think to myself..he didn't really want to love me, he just felt like he had to/he was obligated to. I don't really know what it feels like to have a man love me. Jordyn may love me, but he's definitely not a man. He has a lot of growing up to do. He makes a lot of bad decisions. He's an alcoholic,he smokes,and honestly I don't know what else he does when he goes out and I don't want to. I think my dad leaving us really impacted him.
Now I'm going to tell you about my friends. I'm not "popular" but I'm not "lame" either. I have my group of friends and that's all I need. My best friend's name is Megan. We've been friends since we were in diapers and I love her with all my heart. My 3 other really close friends are Carson, Leah, and Jace. Megan and Jace are dating and so are Carson and Leah. So I guess I'm like the 5th wheel. We don't hangout all the time but when we do we have the best of times! I'm really blessed with great friends and great family but I still feel incomplete.
