Toby's eyes widened in surprise. acting on impulse, he slammed the door in Masky's  face.

"Sh-shit, he found me out.... shit what do i say.. .what do i say? what did Slen-dick say?? I didn't think he'd actually ask slenderman!!" Toby ran his hand through his thick brown hair, trying to  think up another excuse. he opened the door again to an unamused Masky.

"Well?" Masky queried, arms crossed and tapping his foot impatiently. Even with his mask on he looked pissed.

"W-what did slenderman tell you..?" Toby asked slowly, raising an eyebrow perfectly. which actually frustrated Masky cause he couldn't do it as well as Toby could, so there was that.

Masky stepped inside Toby's house forcefully, to Toby's disapproval. " Slenderman told me you did take care of the bodies, but you weren't dieing of heatstroke. so why'd you really leave early??"

Toby looked at Masky warily. was that really all Slenderman had said? He didn't even mention a thing about Clockwork?

"That's... all h-he said?" Toby asked hopefully. He could work an excuse with that.

"Why?" Masky said forcefully, suspicious of Toby hiding something. "Is there something else he should've said? "

Toby immediately backtracked with a lame excuse. "oh no n-no no, of course not, i was just thinking, he forgot to tell you your cat got out that day. She's back with you now though I'm guessing.."

"Stop stalling!!" Masky growled loudly, stepping more into Toby's house. "Why'd you lie to me!?"

"Ok, ok, i admit i wasn't entirely t-truthful to you... i m-may not have been dieing of heatstroke, but after taking c-care of so many bodies, i was tired, and i really don't know w-when i'm heating up. So i lied so i could take a b-break then forgot to come back... there, happy?"

Masky definitely  was not happy, but Toby surprised him by answering exactly what he expected him to say.

"Toby, i wish i could say i'm shocked, but i'm not. Tomorrow, no excuses, no breaks, or i kick your ass. understand?"

Toby laughed. "I'll kick your ass right back ass-mask! "

"Do you even understand what I'm saying?? I'm not playing around Toby."

"Yeah yeah okay Mr.Serious. no excuses or breaks. ..." Toby sighed. "Now get the FUCK out of my house!"

"My pleasure. it smells like rotting flesh in here. " Masky turned and walked out, and Toby angrily slammed the door after him. First he had the nerve to come in his house, then threaten him, then insult his house? Fucking rude.

Although... Masky wasn't wrong. Toby had a bad habit of killing people in his house and leaving them there. So there was a definite smell. Toby had never bothered to do anything about it before cause he really didn't mind, but now there was a girl in his house. a woman who probably would mind the putrid stench. It didn't smell in his room or the bathroom cause he murdered people in the living room usually, but Once Clockwork got well enough to walk, she might want to look around. And her opinion of him was low enough already without noticing how Toby lived with this smell. Although he never felt self consious about it before, he was ashamed now. And what if she ended up getting an infection from all the body parts and blood? It would be his fault.

As if his body had a mind of it's own, he started walking around and picking up the body parts left around, opening windows and tossing them out.

"Why should i care what she thinks of my house? It's mine.." He grumbled to himself as he tossed parts of hacked up leg out the window.

"I've never had a problem with how people thought of me before, why should i start now? Just because there's an injured...mysterious...kinda badass kinda hot woman sleeping in my bed..."

He grunted and lifted up a heavy torso missing it's lower limbs. He shoved it out the window and looked around his body-part-free living room. It looked a ton cleaner and smelled a bit better, minus the blood stains. He  never noticed how cluttered people parts made his house look.

"She could still get an infection though...so i should clean this up anyway. Not cause i care about her ungrateful opinion. " Having convinced himself Of his reason for cleaning his house, he went looking for the cleaning supplies, finding them in a cupboard below the sink. he started cleaning up the blood stains and freshening the stagnant putrid air. After about an hour or two of nonstop cleaning, He stepped back and looked at his living room, which looked brand new without the stains and blood and guts and arms everywhere. It also felt strangely empty. Satisfied with his work, he lay down on the couch, finally able to relax.
