Jasmine POV
"Lori please be careful!" I called after Loriana as she ran towards the pool where Ace was.
I decided to have the whole family over for a little cookout and for everyone to just relax. It's just family here and my dad had security all around the perimeter of the compound. I didn't complain this time since I guess there's a reason to have it.
"Hey beautiful." I jumped when I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Stop sneaking up on me like that. One day I will just punch you." I said, hitting Mario's arm. He laughed making me feel his chest vibrate.
"Wait, can your arms even reach up to my face? Aren't you like a whole 5'3''?" He asked still laughed. I sucked my teeth and removed his arms from around my waist.
"Yah and isn't your dick like a whole two inches?" I asked in the same tone he used.
"Ok." He nodded. "Remember that when you want to fuck me." He said about to walk away but I grabbed on to his arm.
"You know I'm playing daddy." I said. He smirked and gave me a kiss. He looked over at the pool and frowned.
"You bought my daughter a two piece swim suit?" He asked with a frown.
"Oh calm down. It's cute and I didn't like the one pieces that I saw at Nordstrom and I fell in love with that one. She's only five." I said.
"So? When I was five I was pulling bitches that wore two pieces. My daughter will not wear a two piece bathing suit. Play with me again Jasmine and see what I wi do. Your ass won't be wearing no damn two piece either." He said. I sucked my teeth, smacking his chest lightly.
I looked around our backyard that was full of close family and friends. Everyone seemed to be having a good time and the kids were having a blast in the pool and bouncy house. I looked around and spotted Franny sitting on a patio chair, on her phone.
I still haven't told Mario about what Franny told me and that was two days ago. I kind of just don't know how to bring this up to Mario since he done already shut me down before when I told him to do nothing crazy.
I don't want Mario or anybody to kill Monique because that isn't gonna make anything better. What's done is done and I don't feel like dwelling over it. I'm good as long as she stays the hell away from me and out of my life.
"Mario, I need to talk to you later. Ok?" I said. He stopped drinking his beer and looked at me.
"About?" He asked.
"Stuff. Don't think about it too much."
"Mhm. You're up to something but alright. It better not be something stupid Jasmine." He said. I shook my head, no, and he nodded.
He walked away from me and towards where all the guys were, close to the grill. I spotted Aniah with Tammy and Summer and walked over to them
"Well isn't it Ms. I'm gonna get pregnant and not notify my bestfriend." Aniah scolded playfully. I smiled and gave her a hug.
"Hey Tammy. You looking real good today. You're glowing." I complimented.
"Pregnancy glow, you know how that shit go." She said then flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"So guys, you know that Monqiue girl is fucking snake right?" Summer said. I rolled my eyes but nodded.
"I ain't ever like that bitch. And to think she sat at my dinner table one night. I have the right mind to kill the bitch." Tammy mumbled the last part.
