Lily-Rose looked kind of upset. Dean walked over and put his arm around her shoulder for comfort. "Is something wrong my flower?" Dean asked. Lily didn't say anything. She just stood there a while. She finally spoke,"You know, you guys don't have to keep me. I mean, if I'm gonna be a burden I can leave. It's really no big deal."

Dean was shocked. Why would she think they didn't want her? "No. Don't you think like that. Ever. Yes, it's true we don't have to keep you. But we want to. And you will be far from a burden. You will be an amazing help." So please, don't you ever think like that again!" Dean said hugging Lily to his chest.

"Yea. Lily we might have just met you but you are family. And we love you with all our hearts. Or at least I do. I don't know about Dean." Sam said jokingly.

Dean rolled his eyes and hugged her tighter. "Ugh- Dean-need-to-brethe" Lily choked out. Dean smiled and let her go. "Sorry."

At that moment Castiel flies in. Lily see him and smiles. Cas smiles back at her and brings her into a long embrace. "Oh Lily-Rose. I'm so happy to see you! I'm sorry I left so suddenly back there. I had calls coming in left and right. I took care of it. No worries." Cas said all in one breath.

Lily laughed. "So how long can you stay?"

"As long as you need me to." Cas answered. Lily's smile grew bigger. Sam interrupted the awkward silence that fell between them. "So how did you guys meet?" Cas sighed. "It's a long story." Dean steped forward and said, "We've got time."

Lily-Rose looked at the the angel. She nodded and said. "From the beginning then?" Cas gave a small smile and grabbed her hand. "We met the night of the fire. Dean remember what I told you?" Dean nodded. How could he forget? "Well I was about seven. My mom sister and I had gotten home from grocery shopping. Mom puts my sister, Blair down for bed. She was only one at the time. Normally I would have been in bed too. But mom had a really bad day so we watched a movie together."

Lily stopped talking. She has never told this story to anyone but Cas. It was kinda hard. Cas rubbed her arm with his free hand. She continued. "My mom got up to go to the bathroom. She saw someone in Blairs room. She thought it was me so she ignored it and walked back to the living room. She saw i was still there and ran back upstairs.

Bobby interrupted. "Whoa! This sounds a hell of a lot like how the boys mom passed." Lily nodded. "My mom was killed by yellow eyes on the ceiling. When i saw the fire my first thought was Blair. I tried to get to her. I really tried. But it was too hot. I couldn't reach her." Tears had started forming in her eyes. Cas let her hand go and pulled her into his lap. She hugged him as she kept talking.

"The only thing I saved was her baby necklace." She fiddled with the little B she had around her neck.

"I ran out of the house and kept running. I didn't stop till I could see the smoke or fire anymore. I turned down an alley and broke down crying. And i started praying. We weren't religious. At all. It just felt like the thing to do at the time. I prayed for someone to make sure that my sister and mom would be okay in the afterlife. And for someone to hold me."

There were tears rolling down her cheeks now. Dean felt kinda like and asshole for pushing her to tell the story.

"After I calmed down I started walking. I ended up at a park and sat down on a bench. I heard something that sounded like papers being dropped all over. Then Cas was there. He told me that he was an angel. He proved it by healing the cuts and burns I had. He said everything was gonna be okay. He promised he would look after me and make sure nothing bad would happen. Then he held me while I cried."

Her tears had stopped falling as often, but her eyes were puffy an she was sniffling. She sat up a bit.

"And he kept his promise. Even after he left to help you guys." Lily smile up at Cas.

"I'm sorry I made you talk about it." Dean said. It hurt him so much seeing her cry. But maybe Cas holding her while she was crying hurt even more. That was supposed to be his job.

Lily shook her head "You didn't make me do anything. Besides, I don't wanna hide anything from you guys."

Sam smiled and picked her off of Cas's lap. He put her on his hip like a toddler. "I'm glad to hear you say that. So let's make a promise. No hiding anything. From anyone. That goes for all of us. Deal?" He looked around. Everyone agreed.

"Alright, now who's hungry?" Bobby asked. "I'm starved!" Dean said his stomach growling.
