I might say I'm in love

We walked to the lunch room and Claire's brother came over.
"Hi I'm David from earlier," he greets and I smile. He was really nice and kind, and kept talking to me. I got lunch and looked where to sit. I found Caleb from earlier and went and sat in front of him.
"Hey Caleb," I said smiling.
"Hi Allie," he greeted with a smile. He was different from all the boys at home. All the boys back in the city were rude but Caleb was nice and everything a future king should be. I hear a gag and look up to see Brittany and her gang.
"What is she doing her?" Audrey says disgusted.
"This table is for royalty only," Eva says.
"Last time I checked I am royalty," I tell them. "Exactly so she has every right to sit here," Caleb says. "My own blood is defending the peasant girl," Brittany said rudely.
"For Pete's sake my parents are kings and queens. Call me whatever you want but I'm heir to the throne,"I explained.
"I know what she is girls. She's a beast," Kayla says and the girls all giggle.
Claire walks up and asks,"Is that suppose to be an insult?"
"Of course you are a beast," Kayla taunts.
"Ok how about you girls quit it out," Caleb says.
"Stay out of this," Audrey says though clenched teeth. David walks up.
"Oh hi David," Brittany and Kayla say together. "Hello girls," David says then asks "Were you messing with someone?" 
"Not any more," Brittany groans and they walk away.
"Thank you," I say and hug David. I let go and he was blushing. I sat back down and Caleb was playing with his food.
"Thanks for trying to back me up. I really appreciate it," I say to Caleb. He doesn't respond and I frown.

Everyone sat down at the table and we talked about earlier today. Caleb got up and took his trash away and left. I finished eating and head to the training arena. Even though I already have I want to practice. I grabbed my sword and did some tricks. I saw Caleb and went up to him.
"Thank you for everything," I said and he nodded.
"You are one of the first people to not judge me for what my sister has done," he says and I smiled.
"I don't judge people," I say.
"Thank you for that," he says and my heart skips a beat.
"I better go I have to go practice some stupid princess stuff," I said and quickly walked away to my dorm. Claire was there.
"Where were you?" Claire asks.
"With Caleb," I respond.
"Cinderella? But he's sister is evil. You would only hang around him if you were his friend," Claire says.
"Claire I am his friend. I just wanted to thank him," I tell her.
"You like him don't you?" Claire realizes and smiles, "You like him!"
"Ok maybe I do so," I tell her.
"He's twin to evil Brittany," she exclaims.
"Keep it down," I say quietly.
"Ok," she says and I nodded.

I woke up the next day. I couldn't get over the fact that I like Caleb. I changed into jeans, a Beatles shirt, and boots. I put a bow ring on, brushed my hair, and grabbed my British flag backpack. Claire was still asleep so I left early. I went to breakfast and I sat next to Caleb.
"Hey Caleb," I greet.
"Hey Allie," he says grinning. I smiled and started to eat breakfast.
"Who are the Beatles?" He asked. I choked on my cereal and ask,"You don't know who the Beatles are?"
"No I grew up in my parent's kingdom, I'm not a City King like you," he says with a grin.
"City Queen to be exact," I say and he smiles. "They are an old British band. My favorite band to be exact," I said smiling. 
"Oh cool," he says. I take out my phone and plug my earbuds in. I play my Beatles album and put it on in his ear. I pressed Yellow Submarine and it starts to play. He smiled and when the song was over he pulled out his phone.
"The band is the Beatles?" He asked and I nodded," They are amazing so I downloaded all their albums." I smile at him and he smiles back.

I finished breakfast and we walked to the training arena together and started to practice. He taught me some new tricks and when class start I was like a pro. It was nice of him teach me some tricks.
After training I go to princess etiquette but I didn't pay attention I was thinking about training.
"Earth to Allie," Claire said after class.
I jumped and said,"What?"
"It's time to go," she said and I got up and left. "I'm going to go to the library, see you later," Claire said and I waved and she left. I met up with Zoey and Evelyn in the movie room. "Claire went to go read so want to watch a movie?" I asked.
"Sure I vote Cinderella," Evelyn says.
"I can't handle anymore Cinderella," I said and looked around and Caleb was in the room. "Caleb I didn't mean like that," I said and he walked out. "Caleb!" I yelled. "Don't worry," Evelyn said and she waved her wand and time reversed. "How about we watching Into the woods?" Zoey asked and I nodded. "Hey girls what are you watching?" Caleb said. "Into the woods," Evelyn said. I was sitting on the end so Caleb sat next to me and I smiled.

After the movie we started a movie Marathon and ate lunch in there. Claire  and David joined us and we walked to dinner together.
"Must I remind you no powers unless practicing," the headmistress said at the front of the dinner room.
"Yes your highness," everyone said. I ate my hamburger and fries. We all sat together. I sat next to Caleb and David and the girls on the other side.
"Today was fun," I said.
"Agreed the movie marathon was super fun," Zoey said.
"So what now?" Evelyn said. We finished eating and went to our rooms. Claire and I went up to our room together. Turns out when she gets really angry she turns into the beast. People are so lucky I have no powers.
"Why does everyone at this place have powers but I don't," I glumly say. There was a knock on the door and I went and got it. On the ground was a gift. I picked it up and brought it in.
"What is it?" Claire asks.
"I don't know," I say and opened it. In it, there was a staff and a dragon ring. The note was from my dad. "This stuff was Maleficent's. My dad gave it to me, it's her staff and her ring that harnessed her magic," I told her.
"No way this is awesome!" She squealed. I took the stuff out.
"I can have powers," I said.
"This has to be a secret," Claire said and I put the ring on. "Of course only Evelyn, Zoey, you, and Caleb will know," I said.
"Caleb? How do you know you can trust him?" Claire asked.
"Ok fine I won't tell him till I know I can trust him," I said and she nodded. I moved my hand in a way and casted a spell. A box of chocolates appeared in my hand, "This is awesome!" I squealed.
"Well night," Claire said and we climbed into our beds and went to sleep.
