"So what do you think Max? Did it work ?" Jennica asked me with a huge smile on her face.
"I-i don't know." I slowly looked at her, I didn't want her to see my lying face she knows it too well.
"Well how do you not know ? It's simple, you look at the guy in the eyes and then you realize if it's love at first sight or not. There isn't a 'I don't know' to it." she turned and looked at Blake " So what happened to you? Are you in love with her?"
"JENN! It's not like he's going to come right out and say it! What's wrong with you today?" I walked out of the kitchen and down the hall.
"Where are you going?"
"To the bathroom I'll be right out!" I yelled so loud that the neighbors could probably hear.
I shut the door behind me. Leaning against the sink it hit me that I might actually like this guy. I never did believe in all that love at first sight thing. But maybe it's true. I can't just come out and say 'hey I'm in love with you!' He would think I'm a doof.
I could hear some mumbles in the kitchen. Pressing my ear against the door I could hear bits of their conversation.
"It...for me...does she?" It sounded like Blake's voice talking
"....Give time...she...realize..." Jennica's voice replied. What in the world are they talking about?
Opening the door slowly and quietly so they couldn't hear me, and tip toed down the hall. But they stopped talking. Screw it, I thought. And just walked into the kitchen.
"Hey what did I miss?"
"Nothing really. Oh and by the way I know that you were sneaking down the hall"
"How about we go to the beach?" Blake said realizing that I was about to fight back with Jennica

Man do I love the beach. The hot sun on your skin. Your toes in the sand. I love the sound of the waves just hitting the shore. The best part is that there is no one here but me, Jennica and Blake. Jenn is down near the water looking for beach glass. And me and Blake are sitting watching the water and Jenn squeal with happiness when she found glass. She would wave the glass high up so we could see and tell her how pretty it was, she's worse than a little kid, but it's funny to watch.
"Hey ! You guys, let's stay and watch the sun set!"
"I don't know, Jenn maybe next time!" I yelled back to her
"Awe come on ! Please?" She said as she ran back up to us.
"I don't mind staying. But it's all up to you two" Blake said
