"What are you," I began to ask.
"Shh," he whispered
Placing two fingers under my chin, he lifted my face to his. He closed his eyes and came in for a kiss. Exactly like Jake used to. I can't do this to him.
"I can't do this Blake! Not now, it isn't right. I'm sorry!" I said and ran back toward the car.
"Wait!" he called out, "I'm sorry Max, I got caught up in the moment, it's my fault," he said as he caught up to me.
"It's just too soon Blake,"
"And I respect that," he said taking my hand in his " But I will wait for you,"
"We need to go," I said with a smile, a few happy tears fell to my cheeks.
We walked back to the car in silence. The walk back to the car seemed longer than I thought, but I didn't mind. I kinda like being with him. He let go of my hand when we where is sight of the car.
"Sorry Jenn, we couldn't find it ,"
She laughed, " Oh no worries I found it in the bottom of my bag! I tried to yell your name but I take it you didn't hear me."

I got into my bed and shut off my lamp. Laying there all I could think about was Blake and how he almost kissed me. Did this mean that he wanted us to be together? Or just something that happened? What does it mean that he will wait for me? What if he gets tired of waiting?
I grabbed my phone and texted Jenn.
Jenn! I need Blake’s number. no time for questions just find it and give it plz. will explain later.

I told him all about me an Jake, how in love we were, how happy he made ,me. I could tell Jake anything, and he would never judge. He was so perfect in my eyes, everything he said and did made me fall in love with him even more. How warm he was, he was my personal hand warmer, how good he smelled all the time It takes me forever to get comfortable, but when I was with him i got comfy fast, because I knew I wanted to be in his arms.
Then I told him about the breakup how at the end we would fight over nothing, how he was going and sneaking around. I told him about the accident. And how I could be willing to try it with him, not as a rebound, but as if I was getting back out there.
And now l regret doing it. I regret telling all this to Blake, but he listened. I just have a feeling like i messed it all up.

"MAX I'M LEAVING FOR WORK ! I'LL BE BACK AT SEVEN! AND YOUR FRIEND IS HERE! LOVE YOU!" Mom yelled from the bottom of the stare.
"KAY BYE LOVE YOU!" I yelled back down.
After I hear mom shut the front door I slid out of bed. Pulling my hair up in a ponytail I opened my door to go see Jennica. But to my surprise Blake was there with her too.
I am wearing pajama shorts, a tank top and my hair is in a messy pony tail. And Blake the boy I kissed and kinda fell in love with was there sitting on one of the chairs in my living room. How could Jennica not tell me?
"Morning, love," Jennica said as she got up to give me a hug.
"Hey," I said as I hugged her back I looked at Blake over Jenn's shoulders and stuck my tongue out at him.
"Hey!" he said offended "You hug and say hey to Jennica but all I get is a tongue stuck out at me?"
I pulled away from Jenna. "Yup that's right"
"Yea he probly wants it in his mouth ! ' Jenn jocked as I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a banana and got a glass of milk. We sat there in silent for a bit until Jennica announced that she had to pee. Leave it up to her to do something like that.
"Good morning Max," Blake said with a smile, clearly stating that he felt left out of mine and Jenna's morning greetings.
"Hi, so I'm guessing that Jenn made you come with her?"
"No," he looked down and laughed "I made her come with me," he said looking back up at me with that wonderful smile
I couldn't help but smile back. "Hold on," I got up and went to my room and pulled on a pair of jeans. I could hear Jennica get out of the bathroom.
"Where's Max?" she asked
"I have no idea,"
"Well are you going to take her yet?"
"Yea if she comes down soon"
I rushed and put on a t-shirt and brushed my hair really fast. I ran into my bathroom ,that is joined to my room, and brushed my teeth and quickly gargled. I had no time to even think about where he was taking me. I rushed down the stairs and almost fell down the steps.
"Hey," I huffed
"Hey I would love to chat but I have to go, see you later gator." Jenn said as she grabbed her keys off the table.
I didn't notice until then that they both had their own cars here.
I waved her out the door and turned to Blake who was standing about a foot away from me.
"Soooo?" I asked trying not to show to much excitement.
"Let's go somewhere!" he said not even giving me a chance to answer. He grabbed my hand and rushed me out the door, but giving me time to grab my purse and lock the door.
He opened the car door for me and shut it after I was in

We drove for about an hour. But it seemed to go by really fast. We talked about all kinds of stuff. And how he wouldn't tell me where the hell we were going.
"Here we are!"
We walked through the woods for a bit until we got to a clearing and a stream. It was beautiful. The grass was so green it looked unreal. The sound of the water somehow made me happy, like I wanted to laugh. Down by the water was a picnic set up.
I took Blake’s hand and turned to him. With a big smile. I love picnics
"Cool!" I said nodding to the picnic.
